Backup ka matlab hai, jo data D: ya C: mai hai us mai se jo important items hain, jaisay ke notes, articles, ya self made notes, apni personal pictures, ye sari cheezain aik aur location par copy karna. Movies aur songs waghaira to aani jani cheezain hain aur space bhi buhat leti hain aur dobara bhi aa sakti hain.

Backup ke liye hamaray paas kya kya options hain?
1. CD
2. USB flash drive
3. DVD

Agar Data thora hai aur 700 MB ki range mai hai phir to CD par bhi write kiya jaa sakta hai, is k liye aap k computer mai CD writer ka hona zaroori hai. Blank CD aap ko 10 Rupees tak available hoti hai, aur CD writer 1000-1200 ki range mai used mil jata hai.

Agar Data thora zyada hai to phir USB flash drive mai copy kiya jaa sakta hai, aaj kal 4GB flash drives kafi asani se mil jati hain aur kafi sasti bhi like 650-750 Rupees ki range mai.

Agar data buhat zyada hai, ya aap movies aur songs bhi save karna chahtay hain, yaa aap ki apni family videos bhi hain, aur data ka size GB's mai hai, to phir DVD ki option sab se achi hai.
Aik DVD mai 4 GB tak space hoti hai, aur is k liye DVD writer ka hona zaroori hai aap k computer mai, DVD writer 3200 ki range mai new mil jata hai aaj kal. Blank DVD 20 Rupees tak mil jati hai, jitna zyada data ho utni blank DVD's aap ki consume hon gi.

Re-partitioning se ap ki kia muraad thi?

@Tooba mein e window XP 2005 professional ki hai kiun k meray pas ye he hai kafi arsay se.I like it.Antivirus "google" pe search ker lo.likho "Download NOD32"

Re-partitioning means Delete the partition and re-create ...
I dont know why Umer Suggests Re-Partitioning (untill your system not infected by Partition virus )Formating is right choice in general...

I was just suggesting every possible option.
Ofcourse, if you can backup the data from your drives then there is no need of re-partitioning and you can work with format.

i have installed window 2006 xp some days ago .but i installed up dates that created priblem now i again tried i put cd and press any key when option came after it set up started and when it completed . stop .hardware error.comes where is problem plz help thanks
