There's no gainsaying on that account - you get 100% marks for your remarks.
So, I agree with you... But you were found in your previous post to be believing the positives of power outage to be more in number than its negatives - what were they?

No, I did not say any where that positive effects are more than negative ones..I just counted positives because only positive were asked and also because negative points almost every person knows. I just showed the other side of the picture.

And thanx for granting me full 100 marks.

@ Arbab

It is not young kids that find an excuse of not doing home work, the adults like me are also enjoying late going to offices on the pretext that due to power outage, there was no water available in the morning for taking shower and making shave in the bathroom.
And the boss cant object as he himself is having the same situation. !
Good Days. hahahaha

Some real life positive aspects of Loadshedding.
  • Low Bill of Electricity.
  • Evade from long talk shows at media & utilization of such time with family members.
  • Learning Right Use of Things: e.g. use of less water, cook less food, keeps clothes clean.
  • Night Awakness and you have a plenty of time to offer your past prayers, nawafil & Tahjad.
  • Student of Astrology can easily study the stars in deep dark.
  • Weddings in daylight and ...............

Default @fawad

you might be missing followind postive aspects of loadshedding:

1.Mosquitoes make us active by biting
2.We manke active others by crashing their feet and head in darkness settling our old scores.
3.We can eat our every unpleasant meal in darkness making our mother comfortable
4.We can move easily from the eye-sight of Papa and Mama to walk out side with friends

Some more :-
  • Discouraging the students who study at night and encouraging them to study in daylight and in open & fresh air. Both daylight and fresh air are better for eye sight and health.
  • To understand the importance of light for plants and as well as for humans.
  • "Uloo hamaray bhai hain" the title of a book from Mustansir Hussain Tarrar, now fit.
  • Bunsinesses of Candles, Laterns, Wax, Coals, UPS, Generators, are at their peaks. And this way Govt. has created business opportunities for national and international companies and surely Pakistan will become a hub of traders sooner. A lot of European Companies are thinking seriously to invest in Pakistan for its darker future.
  • To understand the life of a blind person, Govt. has given opportunity of loadshedding to the Pakistanis, free of cost at their door.
Remaining Later.

Exclamation Back to the Nature!!?

So guys, Jean-Jacques Rousseau was right in his claim that survival of humanity lies in 'going back to the nature'.... and we see this is well experimented here in our homeland that we are learning to survive by moving in backward direction (away from the blessings of industrilization and ''taali de thallay beh k, mahiya ve mahiya karye piaar diaan gallaan", rather than air-conditioned rooms).
I claim that people of the next century will believe that it was a blessing for we people, as it could awake thoughts in our minds and the urge to do something positive for humanity or our nation at least.
I ask you people; don't you feel to generate electricity of your own for at least your home when suddenly your computer/tv/lights turn off due to load shedding? Don't you bother for what the hell government takes taxes from us for while it cannot provide electricity to us?
You people will agree that at least we have started thinking. If we don't, then our next generation will surely do something to assure to have no such problems in future. If any of you were a father or a mother, had you liked your children be bitten by mosqiutoes?

And I say it is indeed a positive change which is much greater in quality than any negative change in whatever quantity it is!!

@ All
My Goodness! I didn't have any idea that the discussion on load-shedding here will go that much deeper and funnier in a sense... It's interesting to find many good people participating in a persuasively interesting way and sharing their valuable experience about the long-standing problem of load-shedding. Still, the funny side is to read the order and sequence of ideas about the same that many of you have given in their posts in their effort to sound persuasive, which make them read just as essays ha ha ha...
@ Adnan.Danish
I couldn't carry on chatting with you dear sir because of power outage last night. It was great talking to you. Yes I got your point completely....

Well members, here is another aspacts which i just came to know
I am not sure wheather it is postive or negitive, you should decide, but certainly it is very funny !
We have a small lawn outside of our home just beside the main gate. The lawn has a thick hedge around it that can hide few people easily. What happened this evening when the light goes off at 7, i decided to take a walk as usual. As i opened the main gate and some noise arise out of it i saw two persons suddenly came out of the hedge and started running on the other side on road in the dark. I was little shocked and thought they were mobile snatchers or theives, but later i realized that one of them was a girl (or women).
I shout "Kon hai" and reply said in female voice as "kuj nai kuj nai" and they disappear in the dark.
Later i realized from the rural accent that it might be the maid working in some house nearby with her boyfriend and i disturb them.
So it is another aspact which i have discovered an hour ago. hahahaha
