some days back some one in the thread of dividing Punjab into smaller provinces or renaming of NWFP asked the same thing. that will renaming bring prosperity and solve the problems. the same is here.
I want to ask, "did restoration of judges lead Pakistan to prosperity" did restoration of democracy or exit of Musharraf solved the problems?" "Will 18th Amendment solve all problems?" The answer to all this is certainly "BIG NO" SO by saying this all that everything is not ideal and that small things do bring small changes. BUt this does not mean that such small things not be done because they individually not leap our society to era of prosperity and peace. Here I am not saying this whether packages be banned or not, Although I am in favor of that. The purpose of saying all this was to explain that the argument you gave "about leap to era of prosperity " is not fit for any governmental act. then does it mean nothing should be done? not even release of missing persons solve the problems of Pakistan as whole. should that not be done? So instead of using magic of words, explain that with arguments based on simple words and not emotions.

Well I am really really sorry, although I tried my best to make my words light but it seems I could not. Please accept my Sorry in advance if my post created any annoyance but I assure you I did not mean that.
I think you did not read my statement - it was only about night packages which is for our convenience and members have already thrown light on its uses. As a student of History - I've witnessed the acts of government which provided peace and prosperity in the lives of the people by providing positive opportunities which help in character building and maintaining decorum in the society.

Who said renaming N.W.F.P and 18th amendment will not change the fate of the people??? I've firm belief that Rule of Law and revival of the Constitution of 1973 will embark our country on the track of success and development. When there is social justice and fair distribution of wealth - don't you think that it will change our society and we will be entered into an era of progress and happiness?

State has the power which by dint of force compel the people for obedience - whether obedience is according to the will of the masses or against their aspirations. Who can escape from the sway of State ? Perhaps even the mightiest can't afford confrontation with State. I'm amazed about your miserable knowledge by underestimating the power of State. So, the acts of a government has far reaching affects on each and every aspect of life.

Plato said ideal and perfect things are only found in heavens not on earth. The nearer with ideal the better will performance.

When a new invention is introduced in culture and found to be usefull, it get popularity and becomes a CRAZE. This craze takes it time and then become a routine and nobody talks about it as it become a normal trait of the Culture.
So, ppl. wait and see. It is how a culture evolves and change in the course of time.
As for night packages, it is good for winter as nights are long and boring sometimes so ppl. with links can spend time while sitting in comfort of their beds.

common Arbab Sahib,

Everything is implementable...our country existed without a co-education and academies facilties ...so it can now then...that is what i said...we should assess the pros and cons before we give a decision...

about this issue we have a stereotypical thinking that late night packages are used only by the youth...we would be right if we said that its majority users are the youth...

and environment always provides opportunities for doing something wrong...and perhaps by imposing a ban on late night packages, we are offending PPP and all the parties who are selling democracy to the poor people of PAkistan like hot cakes....the last time i read about Democracy, one of its features was liberty and freedom of communication and choice to people, in addition to certain other things

@Crown Prince

I only oppose this statement of your's, "For instance if government imposes ban on night packages - will our society will leap into the era of peace and prosperity?"

I just mean this no one said that banning packages will lead to this. the banning of packages has its own target and has its own scope so this thing needs to be discussed whether banning the night packages will gain its target or not.
No where was said that "prosperity or peace was its target" so this arguments goes null and void. yeah i will welcome things when you say the targets which are to be gained by banning the packages can also be gained by some other mean or banning the packages will not gain it target. that will be good.

Nothing personal but just I am trying to rectify the fallacy of your argument.

I completely agree with Arbab Danaish's views and his suggestions are also workable. Why are others opposing for the sake of opposition?

Banning or modifying night packages can solve some problems, so it should be, and by censoring internet contents may solve some problems so that too should be. For censorship on internet you may start an other thread for discussion about this, in order to adhere to the main topic.

@umarabbas
i do think that if some thing can not be achieved by majority of the parents by education and teaching then its not fault of parents but its fault of those things present in our surrounding which attract us and so they should be controlled by respective authorities.

And about co-education, academies, such things, we have to see the balance of pros and cons, and then decide. And also we have to see is that implementable, if not then how can that be done. Banning packages is implementable so it may be discussed, abolishing co-education, internet and etc is not implementable so no need to discuss. However some improvements can be introduced through some law or education
all is say the famous quote of chaudhry shujat hussain "miti paooo"

@Arbab.Danish

Menace of Night Call Packages - According to my understanding the title want to save our youth from this menace and I want to say that banning this package will not usher our society into peace and prosperity, and it is not a menace rather a facility. Isn't it? There are many things to worry about. What you want to say?

Pakistan now having world's largest young popuation in number. If these youngs be utilized properly, we may witness significant progress but these Night Packages have turned dimensions in negetive way just waste of time and nothing else
