Just came across this thread and it made me feel quite emotional, even bought tears to my eyes.. At first I took it as some guy trying to be funny with Ms Last Island but then I realised that he passed away and left an impact on so many people here (I wonder how LI would have felt as it is a personal incident).

This story reminds us that we are humans and many of us might not know each other or know what will happen in the future but regardless we should care for others and cherish this life given to us by Allah which is so beautiful and should be filled with love and compassion.

Respect for Last Island for being nice to the deceased and may he RIP.

Just started reading this thread incidently,and with every post my emotions kept changing, at first I had a big smile on my face,then a big shocker then sadness and then felt strange kind of satisfaction seeing all the members caring so much for each other .
I wanted to write a lot of things but most of those things were already written by other members so instead of writing them again and giving the impression of copy/paste, I whole heartedly pray for Jannat Ul Firdous of deceased.
P.S Last Island seems like a caring elder sister after reading this thread. May Allah bless her

What a sad incident. I went through all the posts. Was curious at the start, then few smiles and then all of a sudden tears.

@LastIsland:I like your initial replies to him. Had you ignored his message or replied with a cold shoulder, you would for sure regret now.
I appreciate your humbleness - Not the pedantic member. All in all, I feel so sad and its only while i am writing these lines that my tears ve dried away.

I do not know who the Last Island is, but I think that person should have been a little kinder than the person had been initially. It is just my opinion. To do justice to the deceased, we all ought to speak the truth, fearlessly if need be.

Though I do not hold Last Island blameworthy save the general attitude of all of us who have little or more power over another; had Last Island, like anybody else, been aware of what was coming next, the person would have been more polite in handling this matter positive-mindedly initiated by the deceased, may whose soul rest in tranquility. It is evident from the fact how Last Island got heartfelt upon hearing the news of his demise. The message to be taken from this whole thread/episode is utmost respect and kindness should never be forgotten even when one has superior authority in dealing with a person who has no such authority.
