پاکپتن میں میں نے بابا صاحب کے مزار پر ایک فقیر کو دیکھا کہ ہاتھ میں روٹی رکھے کھا رہا تھا اور اس کے کچلوندے کبوتروں کو ڈال رہا تھا۔ میں نے کہا، "بابا! اس درگاہ میں تم کیا کام کرتے ہو؟" کہنے لگا، "صاحب! ہم گرتے ہیں اور پھر اٹھ کر کھڑے ہو جاتے ہیں۔ پھر گرتے ہیں اور پھر اٹھ کر کھڑے ہو جاتے ہیں۔ ہمیں ہمارے بابوں نے مومن کی یہی شان بتلائی ہے کہ گرے تو پھر اٹھ کھڑا ہو جائے۔ پھسلے تو پھر سنبھل جائے۔ مومن وہ نہیں ہوتا کہ ٹھوکر ہی نہ کھائے، مومن تو وہ ہوتا ہے ٹھوکر کھائے تو ترنت اپنی جگہ پر قائم ہو جائے"۔

سوال اعتراض ہے ‘ جواب اطمینان ہے۔ سوال اضطراب ہے‘ جواب سکون ہے۔ سوال تجسس ہے اور جواب حاصل ہے۔ ایک اعتراض ابلیس نے کیا کہ آگ مٹی سے بہتر ہے تو آدم کو سجدہ کیوں کروں۔ خدا تعالیٰ نے الفاظ کی صورت میں اس کا جواب دینے کی بجائے ابلیس کو بزمِ لامکاں سے نکال کر زمین پر بھیج دیا کہ جائو انسانوں کے درمیان اس سوال کا جواب تلاش کرو کہ تم بہتر ہو یا اولادِ آدم؟

جیسے ہی میں نے بینک کے سامنے گاڑی کھڑی کی ایک آٹھ نو سال کا بچہ ہاتھ میں کپڑا لیے کہیں سے نمودار ہوگیا۔

صاحب گاڑی صاف کردوں !

نہیں مجھے جلدی ہے۔

بس جیسے ہی آپ بینک سے باہر آئیں گے گاڑی صاف ملے گی !

اچھا کردو۔۔۔۔لیکن تم نے تو سکول کی یونیفارم پہنی ہوئی ہے ۔۔۔تمہیں تو اس وقت کلاس میں ہونا چاہییے، یہ تم یہاں سڑک پر کیا کررہے ہو۔

جی میں سکول میں نہیں پڑھتا، یہ یونیفارم تو ایک میڈم نے دی ہے۔ان کا بچہ پہنتا تھا۔اب پرانی ہوگئی ہے نا !

تمہیں میڈم نے اور شرٹ کیوں نہیں دی ؟
نہیں جی ان کے پاس تو دو تین پرانی شرٹیں تھیں۔انہوں نے کہا اس میں سے ایک لے لو باقی دو میں دوسرے بچوں کو دوں گی۔ تو میں نے یونیفارم والی شرٹ لے لی !

لیکن کیا فائدہ ۔۔۔تم تو سکول میں نہیں پڑھتے ، دوسری شرٹ لے لیتے۔

نہیں جی۔۔۔ یہ مجھے اچھی لگتی ہے۔اسے پہن کر لگتا ہے جیسے میں بھی سکول جارہا ہوں ۔

شیخ: ہائےہائے….کیا یاد دلا دیا….مرحوم چھت پر بیٹھے آم چوس رہے تھے‘ اچانک گٹھلی آم میں سےنکل کر نیچےگٹر میں جا گری….خالو نےآؤ دیکھا نہ تاؤ….اوپر سےچھلانگ لگا دی اور سیدھےگٹر میں….پورےچار دن بعد ان
کا جسدِ خاکی راوی سےبرآمد ہوا ….لیکن آفرین ہے کہ گٹھلی بہر حال ان کے ہاتھ میں دبی ہوئی تھی۔
