parayee dhoop sey angan ki tairgee achi
ulajh raha hai yeh kis roshni k jaal me tu

tujhey khabar nahi urrti hai khaak-o-jaan kaisey
ghira nahi kisi andesha-e-zawal me tu

me dekhta hoon lakeeron ki sarhadon me tujhey
likha hua hai meray dast-e-kamaal me tu

tujhey main maang raha hoon yeh kis bahaney sey
chupa hua hai meri khuwahish-e-sawaal me tu

kisi ki aankh sey khuwabon ki kirchiyaan chunn ker
ab ek um'r sey baitha hai kis malaal me tu

kahan gaya teray andar ka khud pasarat Zafar
bikhar gaya hai kisi shaks k jamaal me tu
