meray hisay ka sawaan jab baikaif hota hay
tu apnay answoon say mausam shadeed karta hoon

Masloob hona ehad-e-wafa mein shaamil hay
roz apnay ghar is ehad ki tajdeed karta hoon

teray khialoon ka mahwar koi aur bun gia hay
Mein kion ab bhi tera khial mazeed karta hoon

Shab-e-gham ab dam torti ho ge qamar
Nai sehar, naiay daur ki naveed karta hoon
