Please advise
I am Planning to go for both FIA Inspector and MoD test.(both on same day)
The Plan is: 1. Will appear in first 2 papers of MoD paper ends at 1: 00 pm 2. Then Leave for FIA paper that starts at 2: 00p.m 3. As per my previous experience, I should solve the paper in 60 min. around 3: 00 pm 4. Will return to MoD Test Centre at 3:15-3:25 pm for essay Paper. (Distance is less than 10 Km) What do you guys say about this option? |

Essay paper will start at 2.30. One must consider the unforeseen factor as well. 10 KM doesn't mean the distance will be covered in exactly the same time she has calculated. Plus what about the 45 minutes which will be wasted on the way to NTS test centre. Lets acknowledge for a moment that okay without any hurdle or untoward happening on the way back to the center she reaches exactly on time, what about the psychological impact one always face after journeying somewhere? It usually takes sometime to come back to sound state of mind. Last but not the least, it's not gonna be MCQs type of paper which can be easily attempted without preparing any outline, paragraphing, organization and special vocabulary (topic related terminology). Essay needs one to be well prepared beforehand without any stress or strain of any kind. So the last paper, if not attempted qualitatively, may prove to be not less than a disaster.

Need info about passing marks, both in case of individual paper & in combined papers.
Dears, is it necessay to pass all the three papers, one by one? Failure in one paper will be declared as fail, no matter if a person toped the rest of papers? OR marks of all papers will be added first and then on the basis of total marks which he/she gained out of 300, will be declared as pass/fail? If decided on single paper, how much marks need to be gained out of 100 so that the person is declared as pass? Else what will be the passing marks of all three papers out of 300?

Failure in one paper means out. I am not sure about it. But do believe so.

In current scenario, you have only two options. 1st: Attempt paper for either post and leave the other. 2nd: Attempt the both but risk the MoD. (If late comers are allowed by NTS). Attempting both in haphazard way is a step to risk the both. In 1st option nothing to worry about just concentrate on your preferred exam. In 2nd option , don’t jeopardize the both opportunities. Focus on FIA because MoD will be already at risk due to unknown policy of NTS and time constrains. However Its better to take the chance than leaving at all. P.S: Last time NTS delayed the AD MoD paper for one week, just to clash with AD LR. Even now, I think that all 3 papers in a day are scheduled for deliberated clash with Inspector FIA. Regards
