Its really funny to read what you have mentioned here..
Well in my opinion there is no doubt about the quality of work ISI can deliver.

But the selection process ...gosh.. really bad, means really slow..

The thing is I had given Exam at Army Public School Karachi Saddar.. While we were giving exams in class rooms.. the lower rank officers of MOD were also solving the paper.. sitting altogether.. with consultation and off course they belongs to MOD they will be selected anyways...

Now if you have added the flavor of Hollywood in it.. lets assume a film made on the process of selection in ISI.. Featuring Robert De Nero or Tom Cruise and Alpcino etc..

Robert De Nero is a poor guys having a wife and 3 children doing jobs sometimes but usually remain jobless, somebody told him to apply in ISI..

On the other hand Alpacino or lets say Tom Cruise is a Urdu Speaking Handsome Educated guy with sound education and knowledge..has also applied in ISI for serving the nation..

They have given Exam and are quite confident that they will clear it..

But Here comes the reality they have to face that they have to wait and wait and wait and wait and wait............

In the End of that Movie Due to Inflation and no Employment Robert forced to Kill his Wife and Sell his Children because he can't see them crying for food and then Kill himself too having a delicious bottle of Insect Killer Typhoon...

And Tom become very sad about the situation as he have three unmarried sisters and an old mother.. he forced himself to start a Pakora Shop...

After a long time Tom got the news that Result has been announced and he is selected for the interview..

Tom Become happy and went to give interview where he saw that everybody is speaking either Punjabi or Sindhi.. Somebody has a letter of a MNA of Badin or Larkana with him self and Some has the help of His Uncle who is a Serving Major, Colonel or Captain in Pak Army...

Here once again he become sad but he believes in the sayings of Quaid-e-Azam and the Prayers of His Old Lady (Mother)..etc..

When he entered in the room he was asked questions about his Nation (Qaumiat) or he have any Relative in Pak Army etc etc ..

Tom was asked to wait after Interview that If he is seleted he will be informed.. He Never Passed the Interview Never Been Called... And He is Still Running His Pakora Shop At Cantt Station Karachi.. Where He Pay everyday100-200 Rupees to Police Mobile Van in order stand there.. and other taxes.. lol The Film Ends..

hahaha.. The Reality..

Name The Film.. Man in Black of Pakistan with a Dark Future..

And people like us who do Job or not there isn't a problem our father left us huge wealth that we can live for 20-30 yrs more without doing a job.. lol

My Friends these are not Real Realities but we know You Know You Can See Similiar Kind of Stories around you if you really Can See...!!!!

Talking of Intelligence/Psychological test, there is an interesting fact to note down that such tests in ISSB and CSS are done under the lights of group tasks and interviews and the examiner takes into consideration the whole picture but surprisingly MoD screens out its candidates on the basis of written portion of the test and interviews are conducted afterwards and there are no group tasks at all, which is yet another indication that this MoD recruitment process has more in it than what appears to a naked eye!
