brother if you are pass then fpsc will not escape ur chance of appointment on the account of non-submission of degree, they will soon contact you and will send you an other letter to submit your degree. so don't worry about it.

Dear! Demand for ur degree from FPSC is a green sgnal of ur selection.... U submit it at ur earliest... They will definitely consider u... Secondly attach an application with ur copy of degree stating the reason if late k to get a degree from uni was the process of 2 montj and as i got it i m sending it to u for further necessary action.

In a few days, you'll receive a recommendation letter from FPSC, after 30 days of which, you'll receive an offer of appointment from the Ministry of Defence, mentioning the date on which you are required to report at the ASF Academy, Karachi. I received the appointment offer on 27th Feb, 2012 in which I was asked to report at the academy on 15th March.

was the medical certificate required for the post of dad?i was also asked to submit the copies of my degrees,that i submitted and since than, i have not yet been communicated.

By the grace of Almighty ALLAH, I got appointment letter for the post of Inspector (BS-16) in Airport Security Force and also got appointment letter for the post of Assistant (BS-14) in Lahore Development Authority LDA.
Both letter recieved yesterday.
Now I want to ask from senior which job is better for me along with preparation of CSS?
And I want to ask from courageneverdies and new_horizon whether this recommendation letter from FPSC confirms my job in ASF or i will have to pass through any other step like medical or interview by ASF Department?

Congratulations on your achievements brother. The recommendation letter from FPSC is an intimation to the concerned department (ASF) that you have been found fit and suitable for recruitment against the post applied for. It usually is concerned as confirmation, as hardly a department disagrees with the recommendations of FPSC. You will subsequently receive formal appointment letter including a number of annexes along with terms and conditions of your appointment etc. from ASG Headquarters. It shall be mentioned therein that you will have to pass through a medical examination at the ASF Training Institute, Karachi. Afterwards, you would start a training that might last upto 24 weeks. And then you would join your position as Inspector, ASF, at the Airport you would be posted at. You shall receive full pays and perks of Inspector (BS-16) from the day you would join the training.

I am sure, new_horizons being an insider could give you more and much valuable information about it.

Yeah.. Simply, wait for the formal appointment letter package from the Airports Security Headquarters. You will find the requisite documents you would be required to submit like a couple of Certificates/Undertaking, Terms and Conditions of your appointment, your temporary place of posting (which is indeed completely temporary), Surety Bond of Rs.45,ooo/- and a list of things you would be required to take with you to ASF Academy, Karachi for training (uniform and stuff like that, which you can buy from Karachi as well). The letter will indicate the date of Joining training at Karachi.

What is next step now, whether we have to wait for appointment letter quietly or should contact the person mentioned in recommendation letter?
If it is confirmed job now after receiving recommendation letter than I must not join LDA and vacate it for next merit candidate because they asked me to join before 14 sep.
Do you think their is still risk involve whether I will recieve appointment letter or not?
Should I not join LDA without any hesitatio?
