According to seniors before your batch home station was alloted as first posting but from your batch trend changed.
Even in your batch only home station was not given but nearby stations were given.
But in our batch policy of " out of province posting" was followed except me and one other fellow.

Yeh this time also girl was given her homestation.

Anyhow we are well motivated and ready to take this challenge.

Miss new-horizons is right in this regard.
You would not find any book on this topic.
Basic knowledge about security is necessary for good performance.
Use your commonsense while attempting this section and think logically about every option given.
We guys have security related material which we covered in our training but I do not think that kind of indepth knowledge is required at this stage.
So net surfing is a good source also if you know any security related person who can give lecture of 30 min about basics of security then it will also be really helpfull for you.
That's how I prepeared mysel for test.
If you have intrest in security and know the basics of secirity then no need of lecture just surf the net and ans the questions logically.

Gahzanfer was prade commander in drill. Nodoubt he is talented guy.

As for as using source is concerned I agree; ASF in not an exception, rule of Pakistan is also applied here.

new horizons why people are not happy in asf? i hve heard that lot of people resign? if this is true, than why? what about perk and privilages, i have also heard that even an assistant director is not allowed to wear uniform outside airport.

Being an in-service person, I can't discuss many things on a public forum, as saying them are tantamount to treason. In short, ASF enforces strict discipline over its members. It has deployed its own intelligence agencies like FIU and ASF Police to keep a check on its employees. Action is taken on minor violations. Constant watch by intelligence agencies plus hundreds of CCTV cameras, forbiddance of using rather carrying cell phone and forbiddance of all kinds of side activities make it a tedious job.

Promotions are hopelessly slow. Salary package is good, but other facilities are negligible. I advise you to thoroughly go through all other ASF related threads on this forum, esp. old ones. You will get answers to most of your questions.

Dear All,
I have received a letter from FPSC. It is regarding my application for Inspector ASf.
they have asked me for submission of physical fitness certificate and another mentioned in the documents required to be sent is "DPC with date of appointment and domicile accepted"

what does the latter requirement means??

Departmental Permission Certificate i.e. Departmental NOC from the department where you are currently employed.

This is also a clear indication that you have been shortlisted for interview.
I guess 30 days time will have been given to you for producing these documents.
So just after 30 days FPSC will start dispatching interview call letters to all shortlisted candidates.

What was your case number for inspector ASF dear ? Did you take your test two days prior to CSS exams ?

The treatment meted out to female ASF inspectors or Dy Assistant Directors is the same as that of male members?
