Thanks a lot brother. As well as the final selection formula is concerned that I am not cleared about. But yes academic does matter as academic record carries separate marks . Those who have better academic record would be in a better place. In addition , experience is also an added thing. Though , it does not possess separate marks but in interview it gives an edge and one may get better scores. Moreover, those who would have better score in written test of lecturer , they also would be in a very good position as written also carries marks. Besides those who get high score in written , they are naturally attracted by the panel to give them good score .

My dear friend congratulations. As well as prep is concerned, one need to revise the syllabus of Masters at least , like the stories themes characters important questions about those novels dramas poetic pieces and criticism etc. Then one must be prepared about one favorite novelist , dramatist and a poet and one novel , drama poetic piece each. Besides that , one need to have general idea about how to teach or manage the students. One more thing , the panels are asking about strengths and weaknesses also. If one is already doing some job, they surely ask about that job experience. Moreover , they ask about some current issues to ascertain the general capability, understanding and confidence.

Dear fellows I have cleared written paper of assistant professor English, I have experience as college reaching internee , and a private school experience, please guide me would they allow me for interview? Or experience must be of some permanent government job?
