although you describe very briefly i still have some queries.Can you tell me what is the promotion criteria for pms officers and who deals with their promotions and appointments ? secondalyy what is the highest grade a pms officer can achieve? are the provincial secretary and federal secretaries have same scale ?

Please tell me that PMS or Combined Competitive exam by PPSC recruits candidates in BS-16 or BS-17?
or PCS is similar to CSS in sense of Competitive exam level?

I have search whole forum but i haven't found exact and to the point answer

i want to know what is PCS exams and difference b/w PMS and PCS Exam

and how many attempts are in PCS exams

and how many attempts are in PMS exams

and mostly i see advertisement of PPSC and at the end there is written, 100 MCQ test will be taken in case of lot of application are received, it means all 100 marks MCQ are PCS exam.

and one more thing i know the transparency of merit in CSS, can the same in expected in PCS exam as its syllabus is very short and easy as compares to CSS

There is no limit. You can apply for multiple times , if you fulfill the criteria mentioned in the advertisement for the given post.

Not necessary. But now it's common practice .

PLZ can any one tell me what is the age to apply in PMS exam???I have listened that the age is 18 to 31...Is it right????did court has approved the age extension from 28 to 31????

AOA Folks!
I came to know via some source that PPSC is going to conduct PMS Exams in 2014. Does anyone have credible information? If PPSC announces to conduct Exams then how much time will be given to aspirants.
Additionally, I am Electrical Engineer. I want to appear in PMS Exams 2014. I have planned to opt Journalism, Sociology and a Language. Suggestions required?
Is it feasible to go for PMS Exams with a mere time duration for Exams preparation? Can someone starting from zero successfully secure a seat in such a mammoth competition.

It will be announced in May. And exam will be conducted in Aug/sep. Everyone should make a try whether prepared or not. However allocation depends on ur attempt. Social work is better than sociology. My subjects are psychology, Geography and Punjabi.
