bro if 83 were correct & 10 are wrong it means 2.5 deducted from 83.
it means 80.5 left,if remaining 4 not confirmed & all are wrong(may be) than deduct 1 more number.so 79.5 marks left,which was a no doubt a big score.

in question it was asked a revenue officer and i think revenue officer may be of assistant collector of first grade or second grade
so in my opinion it is 24 hours

No doubt assistant collector 2nd grade is a revenue officer.question was ambigious but in such situation i think 30 days (which is within the power of assistant collector 1st grade or tehsildar) is more secure answer

Dear if person is detained by assistant collector 1st grade then he has power to detain person 10 days under his personal detention but if defaulter is detained by assistant collector 2nd grade then he is bound to present him before collector after 24 hours he has no power to detain him for more than 24 hours.
