Well, i guess this study plan isn't gonna work untill one of us be a group leader who make the schedule and stuff and then other people follow him. so alfid as far as I'm concerned, i'm a follower not the leader and also i'm very junior and do not have vast knowledge of these competitive exams, so Aariz or you or any other senior member may be the group leader, and if Mehwish be, then its also good. so u guys please decide and give us plan so that we can follow it. Even Aariz is gayab from that day, i guess the translation went tough with Aariz and he might have got some side effects . Hope he will reading. so please make it haste, that's all i can say.

Hahaha dear, no the translation was just a piece of cake. But, you made me to reveal that I know nothing about the grammar

About plan of action. So dear, what I used to do for CSS was to divide all my time into smaller milestones. For example, if I had to 12 months to study 12 subject, each subject is going to get 1 month.

On next level, I used to divide my subject into further into more smaller unit, say chapters or topics.

I don't have fix number of hours to study, the time is rigidly dependent upon the target set for the day. Some days I study 6 hours on other days I am going to study 12 hours!

Remember to keep atleast 15 days for revision.

By creating a time table and following religiously makes sure that you cover everything by the time of exams.

The PCS is on my nerves these days as I have to cover each subject in 10 days.

BTW, how is my study plan? Any input?

The reason being that although the theory is pretty simply but its application is Pakistan is the real challenge. Just read the planning chapter and how it is done Pakistan.
I am reading the book by Sultan Khan. And, you don't need to cover entire book but selected chapters (which roughly make 70% of book)

Commenting on your study plan for a layman like me would be just like showing torch to the sun , but yes css aspirants who i know they study sleeplessly, but personally i can't even imagine of studying for such long time everyday like 15 hours or 12 hours. Even a three hours movie makes me bore after sometime. But now i've decided to attempt this pcs, i attempted in 2008 but without any study and till today i don't even know what was my result for it, it was just that my number didn't come in the passing candidates list so i assumed myself failed but plz let me know do they give you result even if you are fail? i mean they should still give so that person knows in how much water he is standing lol.

Aariz bro also clear me this mark sheet part and second thing i know you would be busy but still if you take some time and be the group leader since you also have css experience so make us study plans and everything so that we start following some proper direction.
so thanks for such quick reply i wasn't expecting it at all, this much quicker. But early bird always catches the worm .

Correction: When I say that on some days I study for 12 hours it does not mean that I would be spending my each and every minute studying. But I will not do any thing other than to study. I mean that I may close my eyes and turn lights off, just to reduce the stress from my mind. While studying, I even further divide my day's target into 5-6 sections of the chapter. After covering the section I leave the book and play some song for mental relaxation and take some fruit (I am fond of grapes, so eat them after every section covered). So, I cannot even imagine to spend my entire 12 hours without any break!

And dear, you did a blunder by not getting the 2008 marks sheet issued from SPSC. From your marks sheet you would have been at much better place to judge where you stand from PCS benchmark of passing or scoring. Anyways, how did you prepare for 2008 attempt? Was it with some preparation or not. And why you were not attracted towards CSS like me in these 5 years

About group leader, its an honour for me that you considered. But, honest to Allah I don't want anyone to follow my schedule because who knows that mistakenly my wrong plan can lead to disaster for someone, for which I would never forgive myself.

But, you are most welcome to ask for any and every help from me. I do visit cssforum couple of times a day. So, InshaAllah all your quries will be answer in a few hours.

Default @ Aariz

Kindly tell me process of getting mark-sheet from SPSC? what is the process? can i still get the mark-sheet of 2008.

And yes as regard of preparation, i was just reading some books, and few suggestions i took from my teacher who's professor at K.U. so my teachers have always been so kind to me, therefore, he gave me some handouts and books for my optional subjects. But i didn't not prepare the way someone is supposed to do, i was just taking it as normal one, i was just giving it a try that time, so i failed. But this time i want to prepare.

Yes dear you may still get the mark sheet. You just need to fill Rs. 250/ challan. But, you should have you 2008 slip handy so that you may enter your roll number in 2008.

Just the Challan or they have some prescribed form something? which we have to obtain first, i have the slip, i can send someone else to get the work done right? the candidate isn't necessarily required for it?
