i have domicile of punjab and ajk. I am already doing a job in government dept. i was enrolled against Punjab. now i want to apply for css ..mashwara chahea k kon sa domicile behtr ha or kon sa ni..

How come you have 2 domiciles?

Its better to go with Domicile of AJK as it'll give you an edge over other candidates as even a person with a lower merit can get selected if not PUNJAB...
i have same question as Umer...How come two Domiciles???

we are migrated from AJK to punjab ..but we have some property over there so got domicile ..as now living in punjab i have got from punjab as well..but question is tht i m already doing a job in governmnet dept. but i got slected on punjab merit...if i apply for css on ajk domicile is there any problem for me as in government record i m from punjab..

I guess it is illegal to have two domiciles at the same time.
It is better that you now carry on with Punjab domicile and do not reveal your AJK domicile anywhere. Your Punjab domicile is used for your service and even if you pass CSS written and selected from AJK, and then they do investigation about you, they will find out that you were having a Punjab domicile and were doing a job in Government department. This will automatically disqualify you. So it is better to stick with Punjab domicile and present it everywhere.
This is purely what I think. There might be some technicalities which I'm not aware of. So do wait for other member's replies.

Just a frank question: Is it enough to have just land in an area to be eligible for applying against quota of that region?
I know it is possible(State subject) and especially on AJK quota at-lease one non AJK resident person gets allocation every year out of 3, 4 seats. Yet i believe it's not fair to claim a quota as you have enjoyed felicities of Punjab. There should be some percentage criteria for years of education earned from your domiciled area to claim quota.

This is my personal view, please, do not take it personal for yourself.

Anyhow if you have domicile of Punjab and state subject of AJK you can apply.

sir i do not know either its legal or illegal..my uncle who works in distirct courts he got them..i even do not know for what this domicile is..so if it is illegal then surely i will destroy it..regards

Frankly, its illegal. If you have got the job on the basis of Punjab domicile then you should go for CSS with domicile of Punjab. Because if you apply through proper channel, they will get your ACRs and Personal file from your parent department. In that case you might get disqualified and the Commission reserves the right to initiate criminal proceedings.

i have a problem kindly i need a complete information, actually i got job before 6 months as an educator, i gave joining but did not go for duty as my placement was very far from my home.....i got showcaus notice thrice but i did not reply even...so automatically i terminated....now my question is will this termination from a gov job cause any harm to me if i clear CSS as i m aspirent for 2014.

Brother you seem to have information regarding status of AJK candidates for applying in css. According to FPSC if one submitted one domicile in his or her attempt and the next time changed the domicile province it is considered as FRAUDULENT by fpsc as it happened recently e.g a lady appeared on PUNJAB first and then on Baluchistan and it was considered as illegal.But my point of concern here is that the case of people who possess state subject of kashmir is entirely different as they migrated from a disputed area which is yet to be resolved and they get the punjab domicile on the basis of that state subject actually.That is something technical and in language of law. Now to me these people have some privilege as they hold the state subject and the domicile of their birth place or the place where they are residing both at the same time.However one cannot hold 2 domicile of punjab and KPK at the same time.Does it make sense?
About a person who is already in Government Job might have to continue with the domicile submitted but people who are not enrolled and just applied for css,,Do they got any chance to change the domicile to appear and i am just talking about those who hold the state subject of kashmir not about other provinces as it is quite evident that their possession of 2 domicile is itself fraudulent but in kashmir case it is not

What FPSC says about this??
