yes you can leave 2-3 pages and make outline in the end.

secondly i want to ask that can i make a rough outline on an extra sheet or sheets and write rough work on it as it is convenient for me to make a rough draft for essay and out line on extra sheets

thirdly do they provide extra sheets in the start of the paper for making these rough drafts or we have to make rough drafts at the end of the same initial answer sheet provided
You can make rough outline in the end of your answer book.

Default Essay and English

Hi,
Css qualifiers kindly share your essay/english precis routine of last days. In the last one month there is a lot to revise given there won't be any gaps between the optionals this year. Any tips? Should a specific no of days be reserved for essay or should it be done simultaneously? I personally find it too random to keep jumping between subjects and prefer to finish one before going on to the next. The thought of "practicing" the essay side by side is annoying me. (FYI did my research/outlines on imp topics already/ talking about practice here)

I do not qualify to comment here but I'd like to say something. Essay needs a lot of preparation and one should at least practice writing essay once in a week. Since it is the most difficult paper of this exam and most of the candidates fail this paper because they don't practice it at all. They think that they will prepare it a month before exams which is totally wrong. So, one should reserve some time daily for doing a research on a particular topic and by the end of the week one should practice writing essay. There could be hundreds of topics which is not possible to cover so one should figure out the recurrent ones and go for them. Pick one topic and carry out your research on that as extensively as possible and then by the week's end write as much as could by your own according to the knowledge which you have gathered for that topic. Make this habit a part of your week's schedule which I'm sure will help you become good at expressing your thoughts gradually.

Before feb write two essays in a week. Do one paragraph writing daily. In feb, start writing one essay daily from first of month. I know it may be random but this is the thing about css prep, you have to stay focused on english vis-a-vis optionals prep. Because for 90% people, english decides tgeir fate.

I much like this essay. Essay writing is the one of the first and most important paper in CSS examinations. this can very help full for many of the students. There is a general perception that one should prepare all other 11 subjects but no need of any thorough preparation for essay writing. Essay writing needs at least as much preparation .I impressed this essay.

Smile its not advise its my way for preparation, just sharing with you folks, it might help

I would like to suggest, first of all read as much as you can, then sit down and apply Bloom’s Taxonomy to what have you actually read, there is a difference between reading something and understanding something, and try to understand the essance of essay writing, and at least write daily and make it your habit.
start using new words and every article or book or video you read or watch, note down the important and new words and then apply it your own writing. its not a rocket science it simply putting your ideas and perception in to words, once you are able to generate a unique point of view whenever some topic come to you, then you will be able to impress your examinee.

here are my few tips,
Do it with extreme focus, two hours of focused study is far better then 6 hour of study when you are nodding your head in to your smart phone or get distracted by something else.

Believe in yourself, without it forget it, if you don't believe in yourself you will never be able to clear it, period.

Download Audiobooks, install amazon audible, or use apple iBooks, read, read, read, listen, listen , listen, everyday, don't waste a single moment.

Learn the art of Writing, just go and grab some books written by Noam Chomsky or Russell, and learn the way they put things in to perspective so the reader can have a clear idea of whats in your mind.

Avoid controversial arguments and improve logical reasoning, and remember Quotations and references held a paramount difference.

Result should never be a question because all you can do is to work hard and by working hard i mean really really hard beating your self day and night, and learn for the sake of understanding, give it your best shot.

And keep yourself motivated by Praying and getting better from what you were yesterday, this is my second reply to a post on this forum and i hope for all of your success in every walk of life.

Last but not the Least, you all need to have strong nerves and absolute confidence in yourself, and read some psychological techniques and also read Robert Greene Books, that will give you an idea what i am talking about, its about your mental capabilities, in order to succeed and nail it.
