its really helpful and you deserve the true credit.
in the meanwhile i got my Dms for PMS exam held running year January, unfortunately i could not make it this time, because of the fact that it was my first and an ordinary attempt without any preparation....
even i was not so sure of appearing in the exam. anyhow just to know where i stand in the competitive exams, i managed to complete the exam.
i just want you to evaluate my dms and some comments to improve my next attempt. because i like the way you explain things and other relevant topics.
i will share my score on your permission.....
and i would wait for your feedback.
thanks

Dear Hamza Bhai

My next query is regarding technical papers like essay, current affairs, IR in these subjects a lot of material and comprehensive answers are required..what i want to ask from you is: aint it feasible to write down answers and facts/arguments in form of points rather than writing them in paragraphs and at the same time being in tension of taking care of the connectivity of the paragraphs ???

Regards

Default need advice!!

honesty is the best policy

I am not a firm believer in the proverb 'Honesty is the best policy'. While I'm not denying that lying is morally incorrect, I truly believe that 'cushioning' the truth with a few white lies in our daily lives is more than acceptable.

In fact, most lies are harmless. Untruths like 'I can't wait to read your book!', 'Your chicken is divine', or 'That coat makes you look thin' are often told to make someone feel better. These fibs or white lies come up so often that the person on the receiving end can hardly feel betrayed or deceived.

Often, people lie to get something in return. For instance, I sometimes tell my mother that I've been studying all night. This never fails to strike a chord of sympathy with her and so I always end up getting pancakes for breakfast the next day. Now, can you imagine what my day would be like if I didn't say this? I'd be living on eggs and Tofu all week!

People also lie at the workplace or at school. Though the old 'the dog ate my homework' outine may not work any more, you might just get away with something else. And who is to say
you are 'deceiving' your teacher? A tiny deviation from the truth is nothing to be ashamed of!

Thus, deception to a certain extent is justified. In most scenarios, it makes people get along better or sometims it is just a means to an end. Eitherways, as long as there is no serious harm done, I believe a few white lies are imperitive for any relationship to flourish.

Sir, my question is can this kind of style be adopted while expanding an idea in (expansion in English composition). I mean using I and story type style or it is absolutely wrong.
Kindly Reply waiting for your useful advice

Well.all I can tell you is that I never prepared for the psychological test. And I used no books at all. There are some general principles you need to follow during the test.Just be real, truthful, honest and do not try to manufacture things.Try to control your temper(If you happen to be a little short tempered like I am).Give others the chance to speak, but don't get dominated or influenced by them. You should come across as a tolerant leader(not a politician),and not a laissez-faire kind of an officer.Show good manners,DO NOT interrupt others, and do not tal rubbish. These are some principles I will advise you to abide by.
Rest if the seniors say that you should use ISSB books, its good to have a look at them,They might be helpful.Just keep one thing in mind. The psychological demands for army and CSS are quiet different.Just be careful while doing the ISSB stuff because Civil services needs highly intelligent, reasoned and 'cream' officers, not workhorses You would know what I mean.Try to come across as a civil officer material, not a fauji officer material
