AOA 37th commomers ,

Can anyone tell me how systematic and beneficial are the computer and allied facilities available on campus? Ive heard that the computers , initially in the labs, are shifted to the Probationary Officers' Rooms after the first month. Is that true? How is the internet service in the rooms?

Are the Officer's requirements satiated by them or would it be wise to get a laptop or a private internet connection such as the wireless wi-tribe or Evo?

ITs been a week or so when we joined csa. we'r there n enjoyin the tough schedule in which we cant make a phone call to home or to our dear buddies.. well, to start with, i would say taking yr laptop to csa is wise enough. cos we'v been around for a week but still no signs of havin a pc or laptop at home u no, cos o the big big batch that we guys had this time round. we are 360 or so in total. the batch b4 us was not more than 180, they could have had the pc in their rooms but not we guys cos its too big. we'v been placed in double or triple rooms as paultry chickens n its really hard to make a phone call to, say yr girl fren etc at night, lolz.. sorry haaan???? so i mean it depends on yr batch . at the moment i cant pray either ways whether to pray that the batch should be big or small. if small then those who could make it would be angry with me. if big then u would have the same prob as we have.

whatever, but its wise to have yr own buddy laptop. but not v internet cos they can provide u with internet in yr room at hostel...

What is your routine at CSA? Are you given a timetable? What is it? And dear do share your experiences with us time by time. This is really inspiring, I tell you,( but of course living like poultry is liable to exception.)

Is Sunday off? and when the classes finish? Some1 told me that they finish at 4-5 pm. is it?

Yes Sundays are off and classes finish at 2 pm ,there are specific days for each group when classes finish at 4.30 pm.

it means u r free most of the day then and on Sundays.

Moreover, is it compulsory for everyone to stay at CSA. Can locals go back to their home after they finish the day?

[QUOTE]This my dear friend is a wrong perception to say the least. After getting up at 5.30 ( when the P.T Starts ) and spending all day and after noon and almost till evening no one is be expected to anything else.


Secondly the staff makes sure that they keep us occupied. We have been bombarded with assignments, Book reviews etc right from the on set.
Only the one's who opted to stay out can go back home. The one's staying there can go back but have to come back by 11.30 PM or else they have to give explanations and disciplinary action can be initiated against them.

So, what do you suggest that should local people opt for staying inside the academy for their CTP or stay at their home at night. Mean the very purpose of keeping all the csps together i.e socialization, can be fulfilled by staying on campus. What do you say brother?

Sir , after reading your post i think that it will be very difficult to once again write the css papers ( in case the particular person wants to improve his group). What do u say about it and is there any probationer who wants to again appear in the css examination.
