In Serving the Best Interests of Children, We Serve the Best Interests of All Humanity.

The maxim tells about the application of the principles of upbringing of children to the whole humanity. The term ‘serving the best interests of children’ means building up a world fit for children. This will be such a world where every child can grow to adulthood in health, peace and dignity. Such a world will be peaceful, harmonious, and conducive for all the positive affairs of life. This will not only serve the children, but whole humanity will be better-off with such environment and conditions. So, in serving the best interests of children, we serve the best interests of all humanity.

Creating a world that is fit for children has multifaceted implications. This is to build a world that lacks war and conflicts; where there absence of disease like mumps, measles, cholera, malaria and others which have been howling and growling for human blood for long; where children get clean drinking water and proper sanitation; where all children have access to free education facilities; where they have free of chemical effects, natural food in abundance; and where they have the least economic constraints. Such a world will not be limited to the children. It will affect all the age groups and thus all the humanity. Secondly, the children and youth are the future elders and they will be representing the whole humanity in a decade or two,As Imam Khomeini once said said, while teaching the students back in 60s, that my revolution is yet in the laps of the mothers of my nation. Thus the opportunities of health, education, food, peace, and economic investment will ultimately translate serving the interests of all the humanity.

Last century began with the children having virtually no rights and ended with children having the most powerful legal instrument provided by the United Nations which not only recognizes but protects them. Still we need many concerted efforts to promote children rights, more services aimed at children and youth, more parental involvement, more education, more protection, more health facilities, and overall more economic investment in children. This is in the best interest of humanity in fact.

“Man probes into space, but not into himself”
Being owned by countless blessings, many other artificial exposures, and moving parallel with the life, we are still stagnant. The goal to achieve success in life has basically ruined the ability to withstand by self.
Great poets, Socrates have always favored the virtue of self-realizations, discovering own self, to prevent from chaos and to express the real spirit of self. In this global world, people are manifested with huge differences between themselves, which has paved the way for future generations to a more materialist living.
“Knowing yourself, knowing the world” quoted the Aristotle. However, “Know thyself” was the medium of the great Socrates. These scholars have always emphasized the idea of “self-realization”, is the only way to confront the world.
We have travelled to the moon, the sun and the space. But, we have never glimpsed our inside, our heart. Plato once quoted: “The real power lies inside the man himself”. These were the always remembered scholars, who had focused the life individually by their own perspective, which have re-created the different traits and living style.
“Simple living, high thinking” Martin Luther King, being the great king, he always had elaborated himself as a simple common man, with a profound thinking. His lines have always been the source of success for those, who were into dichotomy of living into different cultures. He motivates people for high thinking to adjust themselves into the primitive world.
One has to be aware of self, before knowing others. He ought to have self-determination power, to conquer the world within self.

Thumbs up

I'm thankful to all those who participated in expansion of Ideas exercises. I have read each and every valuable post of this thread-109 pages. It proved hectic to me but I am fully satisfied with my effort. During this, I found the answers of the queries which mostly of them I had in mind also. Especially the efforts made by Zuhaib are commendable. Thanks

Default action speaks louder than words

the axiom alludes towards the irrefutable impact of actions and their power to overshadow words, no matter how articulate they may be.it is the work of a person that defines his persona and it is the legacy that he leaves behind after death.
a fine blend of oratory and cliched stories may sound good to ears but have little influence in shaping a person's views and opinions.perhaps that is the reason why the common man in pakistan is fed up of politicians.the masses are aware of the fact that talk is cheap and unless these politicians put their money where their mouth is, no one is going to believe them.a true, principled man has no discrepancy in his actions and words. such is the hall mark of leadership.it is what makes M.ali jinnah, the quaid e azam and mohandas gandhi, mahatma.
when a father teaches his son to be honest and speak truth, it is his fundamental duty to do the same because when the child sees that his father is teaching him something he does not practises, it gives a wrong message to the child.it teaches him to be dishonest.
to conclude, the real character of a person is defined by his actions and not what he claims to be.it reflects his true intetions which are more often than not masked by fine speech.

Default women are more mature than man

the axiom alludes towards the widely acknowledged fact that women are, by and large, more responsible and prudent than men.there are numerous biological, psyhological and socio-cultural reasons why women are more mature.
if one looks at the biological aspects, one will find out that a girl attains puberty and maturation at the age of thirteen.in this phase the human mind starts to analyze social norms, etiquettes, political and economic situations.this is the time when ground realities disperse the fog of imaginations.on the other hand,a boy achieves puberty at the age of sixteen.so he is naturally more immature than a girl of his age.
secondly, psychologically speaking, the mind of a women is more detail-oriented,analytical and calculative.it helps them to avoid dangerous situations and risky options.on the other side, man are pompous, egoistic and aggressive.they want to run things their way,by hook or crook, and in doing so make a mess of every thing.
the horrors of two world wars and the ensuing devastation are the perfect examples of how immature man can be.
margaret thatcher, often reffered as the iron lady, pulled the united kingdom out of an economic quagmire and paved the way for a steady growth of her country.
to conclude, women are more pragmatic and farsighted than men.the society would crumble without them.it is their mature behaviour that has kept the human civilization out of total extinction.

Default Rome was not build in one day

The proverb suggest that, achieving great success and win over big dreams cannot be accomplish in one day or a short period of time. In contrary big dreams and achieving major success demands worthy of time and sacrifice , for that courage and will-power of great hearts need to be on that ground. A better look in the History, provide us great personalities , who had been tasked for such major achievements from which I Prefer, our beloved Prophet Mohammad (P.B.U.H), who spend his life time to complete almighty Allah mission in this world. moreover his days of prophetic mission started in cave 'Hira' of Saudi Arabia in 1 AH, where angel Gebriel showcased to him the commandments of Allah and from that day till the last days of Prophet life took twenty three years to complete the whole mission and compellition of Quran. further more, for this divine objective hundreds of life were sacrificed and many other difficulties were to be faced by Prophet and his followers. Eventually with the passage of time, the Prophet won over hearts of millions of people and Islam spreads all over the world and mankind got the knowledge of Quran as well, for the welfare of their life's. However there are many achievements of great nation but surly have not been achieved in one day rather have taken years to fulfill. As the example of Pakistan movement, reminds us the hard works and sacrifice of millions of people. in the same line, we cannot forget the dream of Allama Iqbal for Pakistan in his revolutionary poetry and struggle as well as struggle of our nation leader Qaid-e-Azum 'Mohammad Ali Jinnah' for bringing Pakistan for us to get united and successful. To sum up, all of these struggle and many other in the world have taken as much time and life as it can and would demand much more for upcoming objectives and dreams, but all of this achievements cannot be accomplish in one day and possibly would require many efforts and big time for achievements.

"LIFE SUCCEEDS IN THAT WHEN IT SEEMS TO FAIL"

When we are in the pursuit of a prosperous life, we leave no stone unturned in attaining it. Meanwhile, obstructions come in our way in many forms; pessimism, discouragement and fear. These forms haunt us and make us less-expected in achieving the motive we are pursuing for. In a literal sense, they help us in making our way towards that achievement.
A parituclar period of life seems devoid of happiness and serenity, but it ensures success in the future. We do not realize until it get happens. Consequently, when life succeeds after passing through many hurdles, we recall all those hurdles and tranquilly laugh at them. Life never succeeds without absence of obstructions as well as experiences. Those obstructions sometimes seem to be failure of life. Nevertheless, if we know the consequence of that very period, we enjoy it. Many a people around the world remains deprived of experiences come as a result of hurdles, and never feel where their lives are heading to. It is those who experience and learn, enjoy the fruits of a successful life.
'When life scares you, it actually dares you'.
