@da skeptic

1. immaculate expression plus drama equals literary way of expression, not just drama.

2. expend is a verb and doesnt make any sense in this sentence.

3. Cessation of action means destruction for atoms and stopping of activity is to die for cells.

cells dying and constantly being replaced by new cells is a natural process. cells DONT die because of cessation of activity (and that's what you've written) but injuries/death can cause cells to die other than the natural process.

lastly, stopping of activity is to die for cells makes no sense irrespective of whether it is used as a gerund or verb.

Life is action, not contemplation

Life, a strange mystery, explored by many yet understood by few. Desires and dreams surround throughout our lives. For the realization of our dreams we set goals. However, setting goals is only the first step. We have to get through some tough time, need to struggle, take necessary actions for achieving our goals. Nothing can be achieved without action.

Sheikh Chilli is a well known character of our stories. Once he was going to sell some milk. On his way to market, he thought that after selling the milk he will buy few eggs, after some time he will get chicks out of them and then hens out of those chicks. After a time he will have enough hens; by selling those hens he will buy a cow and then many cows. One day he will be a rich man of the town. Suddenly his foot struck with a stone and all the milk split on the road. Sheikh Chilli left with his contemplation which was of no use.

Therefore, success and achievement requires pure actions, struggle and hard work. Contemplations and plans are useless with actions and practical work. There is a famous saying, “Life is not a destination but a continuous journey”. Hence, a nonstop journey requires practical steps in order to make it a successful journey. The Quaid-e-azam, our great leader, always emphasized on hard work in life. One of his famous sayings, “work, work and more work”. His own life is an example of his saying. This was the reason he attained his major aim in the form of our beloved motherland, Pakistan.

Conclusively, contemplation alone is of no use until it is highlighted by struggle and hard work. This is action that is of primary importance however, contemplation is the first step that provides a base to a successful action. Therefore, life is marked with action, not contemplation alone.

Good Work.. :)
Try to put more relevant quotations.
The example has taken more room in your expansion. Try not to give it that much room..
Keep practicing and sharing.. Well done.. :)

Oops.. I had missed some mistakes.. :)

Thanks for the feedback :)

Life, a strange mystery, explored by many yet understood by few is marked dreams and wishes. How is it?

Secondly, semicolon is placed when there are independent clauses. Whereas, my clauses are dependent. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Try to put more relevant quotations.

Two quotes are not enough? :thinking
The example has taken more room in your expansion. Try not to give it that much room..
Alright, while writing I tried to use minimum words for this example.
surround throughout our lives. surround whom??
our lives.
This was the reason he attained his major aim (Revise the structure of this sentence please)
Besides other, this was the major reason he successfully attained his aim.

. It is unlikely that he will win the race.

It is correct as far as I know. Sentence started in past cannot end in present or future.

I hoped that by the time I get there it would have stopped raining.

How did you jump in present? These are not rules of conditionals. Any senior can tell us well. :))
