i am writing english after 1.5 years. This is my very first attempt.I know it will take time as well as practice.
Can you suggest me some ways how to resume and improve my writing skill?
Do your readings with full concentration and write in your own words. Alongwith that try to enhance your vocabulary. Remember there are more than one ways to express an idea, you should learn this art and avoid repetition. It can only be achieved through daily practice of writing on any topic you like and understanding how other present their thoughts. Initially it would be difficult but gradually you will be able to write in a good manner.

A downward trend in education standard today is root cause of all social evils.

Education is considered a third eye of a human being. Without education, nothing can be done perfectly and nothing can be achieved what are our goals to make our country the best country in all over the world. Education plays a vital role in controlling social evils. However, in current circumstances, due to a downward trend in education, the social evils have been increasing to the rapid speed. The rates of crimes are increasing day by day. As a matter of fact, Pakistan is facing different crimes such as robberies, drug addiction, money extortion, land mafia, target killing, honour killing and many other social evils have increased and which are diminishing the image of our country before the world. Media exposes the dirty picture of social evel, for example, a moth ago a six year innocent girl was rapped, citizens are brutally killed by terrorists. On the other hand, the rate of our education as compare to Srilanka, India, Bangladesh has been far behind. And it is the ongoing trend. Despite of spending millions of dollars on education, nothing have been achieved, according to the UNDP and Millenniums Programs, our country has not achieved the desired goals in imparting the education yet. That is why, the social evils are increasing day by day. The sheep mentality and lack of cooperation have been increased. Therefore, it is the need of hour to pay attention towards education. Education should be imparted to the every corner of our country. Different teams should be made to inspect schools, and corrupt DCO's and teachers should be dismissed on the spot if they are founded guilty. Last but not the least, from top to bottom, the mess of corruption should be washed by any cost. In this regard, our all institutions have to be active enough to do so. Apart from that, media can play her role vitally. It is the duty of our media to educate the masses, and teach them that with the help of education we can do miracles. To the sum up, Indeed, a downward trend in education has been of the biggest cause of social evils. But with honesty, sincerity and patriotism, we can achieve our goals. We can change our nation, we can control the adverse prevailing conditions. No matter, our country is facing social evils' problems, but with the help of education we can change our country towards apex. Rightly said by Robert Frost..."Education is the ability to listen to almost anything without losing your temper or your self-confidence."
:excl: Being verbose (and trying to use Gulabi English = the one which shows the vocabulary bank) in English papers can cost you your merit if not your CSS Dream! We (the people of the subcontinent in general) need to appreciate that vocabulary may determine our command over this language but simplicity has it's own beauty :) I would suggest to write only simple, plain and error-free English.

Throughout my 3 Attempts and 12x3 papers i never used the words: condoned, apposite, betoken :dd because we have simpler and much widely used and understood alternatives for them :) Simplicity, Flow, Relevance, and Uniqueness of Ideas may however fetch you good marks

P.S: It is a personal opinion and the readers are free to disagree :)
I acquiesce with your point my friend, and as I said I acquiesce not agree so there is no plain word which can precisely replace acquiesce, it has its own meaning. SO I agree to your point that correct and error free English is first priority, but that would ensure mere strong foundations for your edifice, you have to adore your text with precise and correctly used beautiful words and that is what we call adoration. I would say one must endeavor to learn advanced words and their correct and precise usage. If condone is the synonym of overlook, what is the need of condone? It is level dear, advanced exams require advanced words, and which exam is more advanced than CSS? :).

If one is helpless and can use only plain words then it is good for him to use them, but that is certainly not a good advice that only use plain words. Those who can use good ones, must use them.

Brother that is safe to use simple and error free composition but it is a policy for those who can't handle advanced vocabulary correctly, and for them the best policy is certainly error free simple English. BUT those who can use advanced words in appropriate quantity and with perfect succinctness, this is their competitive advantage over others, they must use that edge to increase their merit, and why do you forget we are sitting for a competitive exam where only those will survive who can distinguish themselves from others.

Conclusion: Your suggestion is good my dear but for those who struggle with their English. So right suggestion is that if one is not capable to use advanced words and beautiful structures, he must focus on writing plain, error free English and avoid using advanced words incorrectly. But for those who can use cutting edge words correctly and precisely, they must use them, after all that's a competitive exam and you have to compete with others, and don't worry, the examiner sitting over there is learned enough to understand your words if used correctly. Simple and plain English can be written by everyone who is sitting for CSS, and ideas and material everyone has, so where lies the competitive edge? Use whichever edge you have, but correct usage is priority.

P.S: That is also my personal opinion, one has the right to disagree in an agreeable way ;)

A downward trend in education standard today is root cause of all social evils.

Seek education from cradle to grave and the first word for the messenger of ALLAH (PBUH) was IQRA. These lines envisaged the need of an educated society which can empower the common man with the intelligence and sense of responsibility towards other human beings. The main cause for a society’s decline is the lack of education and an uneducated person cannot differentiate between the good and bad and becomes an easy trap for the evil hunters who want to create chaos and anarchy in the society. Pakistan should also focus on its education standard firstly to cope up efficiently and effectively with the rising trend of intolerance and acts of terrorism and extremism in its society. An educated society can stand for its rights in an effective manner and should rely on the justice system of the society and strengthen it further to achieve the highest standards of the society instead of searching for the evil ways to fulfill their desires and distract the society from the right path.

Is democracy an ideal form of government?
The government which has public representatives is always considered as the best fittest way of management. This can only be possible in the presence of democracy. Where a common man has a liberty to govern his country and everyone has equal rights in the society. Moreover, expression of feelings and ideas are not clamped down by monarch or governing body. Every class of society is attributed with the sheer of justice and equality. In fact, World has also accepted democracy as a global norm. Democratic countries have great worth in the eyes of world society. In addition, developed society of world estranges itself from those countries which cannot protect their democratic state. Thus, it arouses apathy among the countries. While, those countries, which already have democracy as a culture are regarded as developed and powerful countries. However, nations which are still under process for this development are considered as incompetent. For instance, Pakistan has lost her credentials in front of her allies and well wishers by alternate over take by army. In contrary, India and Bangladesh have paved their way to the success of democracy. However, the incompetence of elected government should not be used to blame democracy. It might have reasons like corruption, nepotism and relentless derailing by destructive factors. It is needed to give democracy some time to hold its feet in society. It always gives back to those nations who know its worth and value. Therefore, it can be concluded that ideal governments are always democratic one and the failure of a government cannot be taken as the failure of democracy. (271)

Is democracy an ideal form ofgovernment?

''Democracy is a system of government in which people are only counted, not weighed'', Iqab said.It is a defective system infact. This system equals literate and illetrate people, while Allah says clearly they can't be equal. Now it is upto us, either we beleive in Allah or westren scholars who promoted democracy.
Democracy seems as an ideal form of government, it is only eye caughter, infact democracy resembles theodemocracy, which is, no doubt, an ideal form of goverment.Theodemocracy is blend of Islam and democracy.US is a democratic country where white people consider superior to black. And Europion union is such a democracy who conferred rediculous rights to their people, such as gay marriage. This is devastating face of democracy which is destroying world silently and eradicating ethics as well.We can say that, ''Democracy is a blind form of goverment, which crosses its limit in confering rights to its people.''
So we can say confidently that democracy isn't an ideal form of government.

Religion is the biggest benefactor of human race

Religion is undoubtedly the biggest benefactor of human race. It has shaped the human life and created foundations for human civilizations. From answering the basic question of our existence to the lessons of morality, religion has aided human race in its survival and sustenance. The most fundamental question of our existence, our purpose of life and the reason of our life has been a riddle to human race since forever. Science has failed to give a satisfying answer. However, religion has given a meaningful answer to the questions. Religion has given purpose and meaning to our life. It has also given moral values and ethics to our society. It is a widely accepted fact that humans have innate tendency to maximize personal benefit at the expense of others, therefore, religion bound us to abide the moral code to prohibit us from these selfish actions. Had there been no religion, there would have been no compulsion or binding force for humans to upheld moral and ethical values, which would shake the foundations of our societies. Moreover, all religions of world forbid humans from all kinds of sins. Religions stop us from these actions which are harmful to the society or individual. These rules and guides of religion have enabled humans to co-exist peacefully and evolve into civilizations. Furthermore, religion has proved to be the antidote of selfish human desires. Humans tend to indulge in acts of lust, gluttony, envy and immorality. Therefore, religion is the only force which forbids us from these actions. By prohibition of these acts, religion ensures balance of society which is essential for the society’s evolution. To conclude, religion gives human race a sense of harmony and peace. It gives human a feeling of security that there is someone who is watching and looking after us. It gives us faith. It gives us something to believe in. Most importantly, religion has given us a reason to live.

Religion is the biggest benefactor of human race

As a matter of fact, religion solves every problemof human life. It describes a set of rules, teaches us about good and bad things. Indeed, religion is the biggest source of human being to spend life peacefully. There are a lot of religions. Among them the major religions are Islam, Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jewism. Every religion has its own importance, every religion teaches the best way to spend life. However, one of them which is the best and biggest benefactor for human reace is Islam. Undoubtedly, Islam plays a vital role in creating peace and prosperity. It is the biggest benefactor for human life in creating his life much better in this world and after death to answer the questions of his deeds. According to Islam, if some one does good, he would be rewarded, similarly if some one is evolved in bad deeds, then he would have to be accountable in front of Almighty Allah, Allah would ask him of his bad deeds and sins in the day of judgment. No doubt, every body would have to be accountable in front of Almighty Allah. Hence, we must follow religion, because, it solves every problem of human life from cradle to grave. It answers the basic problems of human life that who is the master of this world, what is the place of human being in this universe, and what should be the role of human life in this world. Whether one must be materialistic or non-materialistic, it depends upon every people. In this regard, if some one follows religion, then he would not commit mistakes, he would not do sins. Because, he is known that if he would do anything wrong then he would have to face the consequences. Therefore, religion is beneficial for human. Because it teaches us that what to do and what not to do. It gives us the crystal clear way, the right way for spending our lives. It tells us in form of Hadith and Quran that what should be done and what should not be done. Especially, Islam must be followed, our Islam is based upon Sharia. And in Sharia Quran and Hadith are the biggest source, which are the biggest benefactor for human life. Conclusively, it has been crystal clear that indeed religion plays a vital role to make the human's life good and best. There is no doubt that religion is the biggest benefactor of human life.
