As the object is not mention in reporting speech i.e master said to whom...the correction seems in correct to me

as per rule of 2nd person in reported speech will change according to object of reporting speech... dont know kya theak rhy ga...

The master inquired how long he/she/I would take in warming his food.

if the object is not mention in reporting speech then how we change 2nd person in reporting speech while converting into indirect narration...
if nybody clear the point i'll b much thankful to him/her..
