Sure, but there was a time when aspirants use to guess about topics and prepare.. now mostly guessing is out of trend. lets post targeted guesses and work on them. As far as, evidences are concerned, as one might ask, take a look at link below. guys did guess and see in 2011 all their guesses worked.

The simple solution is to approach all credible sources available to one, listen to only those which sound logical and cogent, adopt which suit you and cut them strategically according to the need of the time.
sidraaslam, sorry to say but this time I don't agree with you. In my perception, there are surely some rules for effective essay writing. A good essayist always follows that rules. As a matter of matter of fact, we don't give it proper time which it deserves. Relevancy, coherence and balanced approach are the essentials for it. Apart from it, we can make it more impressive by providing good introduction as well as conclusion. That is why, I have started writing introduction and conclusion of important topics.

This is the very art one has to acquire.

For instance, you have one topic Women's political status in pakitan you must be able to write against or favor of it. Even though I have to write in a particular direction I should aware of the holistic perspective.on which I am going to pen.

1.so, if I have to prove how Women' political status has ascended I will subscribe following ideas
  • women political quota has raised 17% in national and 33% in the local sphere since 2001, and how it benefited women related laws
  • participation of women in political gathering and demonstration
  • quoting some reports and studies(national and international level) which evident that how the political status of women has raised within the country

If I choose to side with otherwise, I will subscribe following facts and approaches
  • women have been the victim of socioeconomic discrimination because of low political representation since inception although quota has been fixed for them, in absence of direct constituencies, this quota is filled by kith and kins of political leaders. Hereby, it seems women are as least represented as before.
Responding to your first query, if one doesn't have relevant arguments, it's better not to select that topic. There are other 9 options. Now, coming on to your topic "Women's status in Pakistan", I will recommend you never select topic which is somewhat controversial or sensitive. These days, women's issue is one of the most sensitive as well as controversial issue not only in Pakistan but also all around the globe. Maybe, you are writing in favour of women's liberty and examiner is against it. There are some pre-defined topics, whatever good you write about it, examiner is liable to fail you. Apart from it, there are also some other topics though not controversial, however, one shouldn't select. Otherwise, he will have to bear brunt of it. To sum up, selection of topic matters alot.

Leo, nowhere I mentioned there are no standard rules for essay writing. I myself follow some standard rules I just said to pursue a fixed formula( for which you are pursuing as you mentioned) for essay writing particularly for CSS is a hard nut to crack. you probably either did not carefully read what I try to mentioned or misunderstood me.

HAHAHA, again one more misunderstanding.NO WAY I will touch a topic until I am not crystal clear what did examiner exactly mean or I have enough argument to answer it. I give this example just to mention only that relevancy is the key but to generate instantly relevancy in the examination hall is the very strategic tool .

(I think I should stop there it seems it became a controversial debate as I am talking in gray areas and you tend to perceive in just black or white. Mean hereby I fairly understand your point and agreed, but perhaps remain unable to clear you my perspective which you might agree if just understand). well good luck

I have been suggested to use this forum regarding acquiring necessary information about CSS exam, but I posted something and did not get any response....

The post was:

Hi all, I want to ask you guys to recommend me a book covering US History from Pre-1492 era to present day. Now not everyone has the ability to absorb the history, especially when it's not written in simple way. I once saw that book "Story of Our Land and People" by Glenn William Moon, in which I read few pages and I managed to understand the whole story how Indians got settled on land, now known as USA. It was written so well and the story was so simply explained that it gave me impression that it might be for Elementary level students. Now I looked for that book at million stores and even asked my friend who's in UAE for it, but not any luck finding that.
I want that kind of a book for a person like me, which covers the basic background of Pre-1492 era to present day in a very simple way. Just High School level! Simple written and explained with easy vocabulary. please guys, suggest me any such book. I shall be very grateful to you.
Thanks
explore US history section I am sure you have enough stuff to satiate you answer. (are you appearing in 2019?)

sidraaslam, I deduced it from your first sentence. You have used the phrase "it does not exit". Whatever may be, I now feel that we are nearly on the same page and v.soon we will be exactly on the same page.

Actually, I was talking generally but you turned it to yourself. Again misunderstanding arises here. I'm not going into a controversial debate. It's just a normal discussion. Maybe, we are not able to share views in this literary manner and it will certainly take sometime for understanding each other. Anyways, thanks for best wishes. I wish you the same throughout your life.

sorry, I tried hard to stop my self from not to stretch it but I cant. Actually, you pick a piece of my statement "it does not exist" which tend to change completely meaning my statement. I stated ''There is no way to acquire the precise strategy for this because it does not exist''. Later, I mentioned acquiring accuracy is possible. Definitely, you can differentiate precision (100%) from accuracy(near to 100%).
