There is no denial that In modern democratic state Media is considered as the fourth pillar of the state whose functions are indispensable for the smooth and effective functioning of a society. It is the dire need of today’s globalized people to be aware of their surroundings. Therefore everyone gets information through easy accessible sources of media. Mainly media is involved in providing latest information rapidly about whole world, national, and local events. Its duty is to inform, educate and entertain the people. Society is influenced by media in so many ways as it exposes Corruption, poverty, illiteracy, social taboos, violation of human rights, oppressing laws, traditional customs. Media performs crucial functions in a society, but sometimes its role may turned negative. Instead of giving important information and educative programs, all that one gets on television is sensational depiction of all news stories, their only goal being gaining television rating points (TRPs). Strange music, phrases and other spicy ingredients are added to make news sensational.
Media created super hype on different incidents. It may spread rumors, lies, and incorrect information. No doubt, media has played significant role in making world a global village and to reduce the communication gaps but unfortunately, media these days has become Commercialized Sector. verily, if media identifies its responsibility, works sincerely and honestly and Government pays its due attention towards media, then it can serve as a great force in building the nation.

As a matter of fact, the world has become a global village and it is the media which has made it possible, besides, both electronic and print media have been doing miracles in order to educate the masses. Apart from this, it is a matter of fact that whenever any thing is happened in the world, it is the media which presents that particular news in front of its viewers withing seconds. More importantly, media plays a vital role in creating awareness and educates the masses. She works for national prosperity, and keeps her eyes on for updated issues such as on economical, political, and social issues. It has seen, media, being a fourth pillar of state, reveals a lot of cases such as corruption, nepotism, violation and other many cases, even high profile politicians can not survive if they are guilty in any case before media. Besides, pre-planned talk shows and breaking news are also a new trend in the media which make confusion among the institutions and masses. Aprart from this, our own culture is being doomed due to foreign culture which is being represented by our electronic media, such as Indian movies, Turkish dramas are becoming dominant on our own tradition and culture. In simple words, in current times media has a power can do anything anywhere anytime, she can make good to bad or vice versa. Therefore, it is the need of hour to make our media good enough in order to git rid off her negative role. In addition to this, media has to be patriotic and should perform its duty astonishingly.

Media is considered fourth pillar just because of its power to inform, educate, entertain, and influence the people. It can mould the opinion of general masses as per its own desire. It can affect the behaviour of the people the both positively and negatively. The role of media in the current scenario is of high importance, because there are so many problems that should be addressed such as corruption, unemployment, Inflation. Similarly, from the social point of view there is illiteracy, Health problems, and anarchy, Clash of civilizations, Religious Intolerance, Propaganda, Terrorism, and Unrest among the People. By the same token, Race of Atomic Weapons, Cyber War, The age of machine, and Global Warming are some of the other problems. In these situations, media should play its part i.e. to inform, educate, entertain, and influence the people in true sense. Media should keep an eye on Governments’ activities so that corrupt practices can be eradicated. On the other hand, Global media should flourish the feelings of brotherhood rather than escalating the religious intolerance. Further, now the world is busy in atomic race, media should make the people aware that this atomic race would lead us toward mass destruction. Now time has come Media and the people realize the seriousness of global issues and take pragmatic steps otherwise the alternative are too grim to contemplate.

Faisal bhai,I didn't read your introduction, because you started in a wrong direction, your outlines are out of the context I couldn't get you really, it is about media in present scenario, and your totally focus was on socioeconomic problems. Nearly, 80% out of the topic, I am really not satisfied. May be you disagree but as far as I have understood, its not a getting through attempt.

Please check out my attempt and take out mistakes as much as you can, I will be thankful to you. Thanks.

On the one side of coin media is playing its role astonishingly and on the other side of the coin it is playing its role antagonistically. Infact, some times media performs its role negatively, and also violate the article 19 in the name of freedom of speech in order to increase TRPs. In addition to this, media has to be patriotic and should perform its duty astonishingly.
dms...I do not want to comment on this topic because I could not comprehend it. For one thing, there are two dimension of it. First, Role of media in current scenario means, as you did, we need to tell that what media are doing in current scenario. But what I understood was that What should be the role of media in current scenario. So this is why I postulated that I could not understand the topic fully; and it was very generalized one. Apart from that your attempt seems good.

One more thing: kindly tell me what is the reason behind using She in some specific sentences instead of it (media) ?
Yes, for Paksitan or Media, we can use both pronouns i.e. she or it. Both are right. You have rightly pointed out my mistake that I had to mention only one pronoun. I think 'it' is more good to present for media.
