Introduction:
An energy crisis is any great shortfall in the supply of energy to economy. Importance of energy in a country’s development can be inferred from the fact that economic development of a country is measured in terms of its energy consumption. So energy fuels the economy and its shortage curbs growth. In Pakistan per capita energy consumption is 0.49 TOE(Tones of oil equivalent),Which is significantly lower than the world average of 1.78. This reflects country’s level of development. Pakistan’s energy sector is in crisis. Its problems seem insurmountable. Power outages of upto 18 hours a day disrupt the lives of the people and threaten the economy in an unprecedented way.

thanx for your suggestions. in your opinion what should be introduction of my essay according to these outlines.because i really confuse while writing introduction.
) Monopolization of what?
ans;in pakistan gov has monopolised the generation, transmission, and distribution of electricity. This monopolisation has destroyed the spirit of entrepreneurship.
Maladministration of previous regime not present regime ?
when i,ll appear in 2013 present regime will become previous.
Exploring coal iz it a problem? that i know lack of exploitation is cause?
yes my outline was wrong it shoud be lack of coal exploration

I have a piece of advice for you...please analyze the statement or Topic very carefully before you start answering, most of the time people do not get the essence of a topic and often get mislead.....

Energy crisis means crisis of Energy i-e lack of availability of Natural Gas as well as Electricity so do not confine it to Electricity only as the very title is Energy crisis .....NOT Electricity crisis......hope you got my point.....read the question carefully not only in Essay but in every paper....

Stay blessed...

i'm not going to point it out dear, you have many other things as well that are relevant to Electricity only, however you know what is relevant and what is not.....there is no mention of Gas even, this is what i mean.....so if there is no mentioning of gas then it means you meant the Electricity only....
