wow wot a criteria " i taught this person so i shuld get more marks den him/her."such a lack of transparancy frm fpsc ,dey shuld have made us fill a form in which every candidate shuld hve mentioned the names of dere students so dat fpsc couldhve made sure dat dey get higher in merit den their students. hats offf for this hue n cry .

Now this year, I have scored 908 but I am placed at merit number 70. Look at the difference in the merit order dear. The point which I am trying to address is that CSS 2009 was full of competition and fractional marks have created difference in the merit of candidates. So please dont just judge it according to merit number...

Default An Important update...
through reliable sources(whom i approached after observing the behaviours of the disgruntled candidates), i ve come to know that the most decisive factor in the determination of the result was the score in the written this time...
i ve been told very confidently that all the rumours would wither once the dmcs are public.
so dear fellows i would request u to be patient till the dmcs are public.lets share our dmcs with each other when we receive these and i hope the matter will b clear a bit...

Muqeet i wonder if we consider the written score factor, that does indeed, have a decisive say in merit. But what about the 300 marks of Viva, which has not been excercised with "due dilligence". What is then the use of the Composition of Viva Panel and the ordeal of going through viva for the candidates and the Panel members alike. Can we ignore the importance of Viva sir?

this time its almost the same.
what i ve come to know is that bcoz about a 1000 candidates qualified this time, the panel decided to award viva marks on the basis of written score. candidates with marks in a range (say 700-715) were to b given score accordingly. the matters like the performance in the psycho tests and during the real-time interview occupied secondary importance...


and of course this time the merit calculating formula was in proverbial full-swing as many candidates had equal final score.(for example look at me, with 920 i m at 48th poition, two above me and one below me are also with same marks...)

The only institution which was symbol of merit for Pakistani's has lost its credibility due to some biased officials who have harmed the honor of its chairman and institution to a great extent. Chairman could not understand the game, he was novice in this field and his lesser exposure in this field caused this massive loss to the talent of Pakistan and his own repute.
