For objective portion encyclopedia of general knowledge for css

For Subjective portion One volume guide to contemporary affairs by M Imtiaz Shahid. + Dawn News Paper

Always note down important data and events so you could revise these 10 12 pages on the exam day. Always suppourt your answer with relevant data, logic and reason. Dont go much deep in the historical background if question is asked about current situation.

One question asked in CA paper 2009 was about how china economy is detrimental to hegemonic poster of USA?

2. I will be consulting International Relations (by Joshua Goldstein) and Prakash Chander along with Daily Dawn. I found the first book (Goldstein) to be the best one. What are your thoughts?

3. What is ideal preparation time for Geography & IR?

4. What books/sources did you consulted for EDS prep?

1.. 5 to 6 pages but its actually quality that does matter

2.. of course its best one but time constrain preclude my plan of reading this book
3..does depend on your grasping power. i think 15 to 20 days for IR and 45 days are should be enough..
4.. i think kashmiris book is good one
