@Stunner

well yours is a peculiar case. takes some courage to go for eng lit without a masters in itI really appreciate that.In that case u will have to go an extra mile n try to ensure that ur grip on different literary movements, ages, poets, writers along with their works is really strong. You should try to understand the themes of different important works e.g. "Waiting for Godot' may look like a thin book but all literature lovers know that tomes can be written in the explanation of this brilliant play.So I hope u understand what I meant. Carry on with ur prep n if u feel itis too much then u always have a choice.

@ Anne

Oh well .. Thanx for the help & finally i got someone to motivate me to take English literature ..
Well i personally think that i have lots of time to prepare and the interest i have in this particular subject will save me from choosing and preparing another dull subject in place of it .. And i m of a very strong opinion that with hard work in covering the suggested syllabus properly and with help from The Almighty, i can manage a very good score in it ..
Thanx for such a precious advice ..

Well, my case is not a peculiar one, as it is of Stunner. Still, however, I would like to seek advice regarding English Literature. I've done Masters in this subject. Have confidence, to much extent, that I've got a good grip over the wide ranged English Literature. Movements, Ages, Poets: as you mentioned these, I've treated them, during my course of study, with special emphasis. Good for me I've done my Masters with 70% marks.

Still I'm not sure whether this be of much help for me. I be reiterating that I opted English Literature in CE 2010, and it went extremely well. But there is a thought in my mind, because of the SAYINGS of many people, that this is not a very high scoring subject. But then again 130/200 is a score many would yearn for.

My problem: To put all in a sentence. I have multiple options. I can exchange English Literature with Physics, Mathematics etc (I've done BSc Physics & Maths from PU). What would you be recommending that should I go for EL anyways or should I opt any other optable subject???

I might be lacking the determination like Stunner have, but confusion can drown a steady ship.

Looking forward to have a reply.

Regards.

Default @All who asked for psychology

hello dear...
Thanks to all who appreciated me on my marks. some of you asked for psychology guideline and asked me k how i got it prepare... I gave psychology just 3 to 4 days for preparation coz it was not new subject for me. I've done my MSc in applied psychology and a gold medalist in it. so thats why i had many books, notes and material on that. But I also used internet for that. Understanding Psychology by Feldman is also a good book for psychology. And I think anyone may prepare it very well by using graduation books of psychology which are in english coz cotents are the same. And if anyone don't have any background of psychology he/she should use the book "Business Psychology", I've written this book. Basically it's for B.com students but it is based on general psychology. I explained almost every important thing about psychology in it. Besides there are solved MCQs in it for practice.

Now I'll appear in CSS 2012 Inshallah... Still if anyone wants any guideline about psychology then he or she may consult me without any hesitation.

Thanks,
Sehrish Javed

Thanks alot for the reply. Is your book easily available (for someone outside Multan, or Punjab) and if not, where can we get it?

Plus, what books would you suggest for paper 2's themes?

Regards.

Thanks dear. Ya you said very right. As i Already mentioned that if you get the graduation book of psychology under BZU syllabus, that will be very helpful to you. It covers a lot of material. and you can use internet for some topics which are not included in book...

The famous one book center is "BOOKS AND BOOKS" Gol Bagh Multan. If there is any branch of this book center in your city then you may contact them and ask for it, they will provide you that book It'll be available on almost every good book center i September, Inshallah. As i Already mentioned that if you get the graduation books of psychology under BZU syllabus, that will be very helpful to you.
