wesy i dnt agree with this type of checking ...Jin logon ny journalism rakhe thee un ki tau band bajj gai hai na ...n wat abt those who opted regional n arabic languages..This is nt fair at all..If unhun ny cheking strick rakhni hai tau it shud b at equal basis for all subjects....

Everything has turned around.In Indopak History and Islamic History I have hardly seen anyone scoring above 100.I scored 97 N look at journalism i believed it to be my best paper with 17 correct MCQs and what is the final score 33 Pathetic and ridiculous. Hansi bhi arahi hai aur rona bhi.What to do now?What optionals to change and what not to change ?Kuch samagh mai nahi araha hai ke kia karen? Agli dafa pata nahin kia trend hoga. And ppl say there r no scoring trends.Ye tu koi socha Samgha mansooba lag raha hai to confuse the aspirants

well i will suggest you not to change ur subjects...as nxt time bhi aisy hi ksi subjects k sath aisa ho ga n who knws k wo subj kon say hun...so its better that u must stick to ur own subjects n prepare them at ur best..Best wishes

Yes brother,this time Islamic history has proved to be disaster.
Even many aspirants could not score 600 due to this subject.
Last year averge score was 140-150.
And this time 70-80

@ Sidrah:Thanx sister for this nice suggestion but it will be my last attempt next time inshallah. N I m really worried abt it.The scoring trend of Indo PaK History in 2008 was also very discouraging but i still opted it in 2009 without any prior knowledge abt the previous scoring trends in this subject.I still managed to get 122 with average papers and that thing compelled me to keep going with it in 2010.But now the whole scenario is different.I remember some qualifiers of 2008 said to us that CSS is all a number game.So go for such subjects in which there is a constant trend of good marks.And now i had to seriously think abt it.V can do only wht v can do on our part QK Taqdeer ke agay kisi ki nahin chalti irrespective of the fact how long & much u plan.

You are right dear. CSS is all number game. I have witnessed people going below 8-12 positions in final merit list on just a single goddamn number. You would see 8-10 people clinching on to the same score, say for instance 880 or 865 etc. There one realizes that if s/he had scored just one extra mark, s/he could perhaps climb 10 positions higher and likely land on to a preferred group.

I have myself changed the optional subject yesterday, after thoroughly analyzing several mark sheets on fpsc website.

dear redmax eventhough u r an experienced, hardworking and an scholar type man yet i shall suggest u dont change any subject. time is very short and we have a lot of expectations from people like u.

so if any subject is less scoring at this time may be high scoring at the next time.

also no one can say certainly that the subjects who fetch good marks at this time will also be marking in the coming year.


therefore please workhard and rest leave to Allah.

hope u still think on ur decision.

Redmax, i think Mari sahb is quite right in his views and u should not change ur subjects this time around when u have only 3 months to go.

I also uzd foreign buks in accounting My all answers were blncd & correct. What happened i don;t know> I am very gud in accounting i never got less than 95 in any accounting paper in MBA. what happend
