@sincer khan
Nazish has a serious problem of "guided fantasy".Reading stupid stories of Malala has literally outmaneuvered her rational thinking.This is the reason why she can't distiguish or more appropiately cant understand who leftist are. Another misconception on this forum is that Western states are secular and liberal.In reality they are heavily influenced by radical ideology,such as Ku klux clan movement by protestants,mass murder of Martin luther king jr. ,Abraham lincoln, and my all times favourite William Mickenley. I'm also punjabi,still i hate the boot liking of punjabis bureaucracy at highest official level.I hope all of know very well the word 'baboos" and "red tapism".Thats the major failure of pakistan civil services. |

I just addressed these arguments. Quote:
And Ursula, I'm done with you! What I read is my business and not yours. I don't know what your problem is? Arguments are about facts and I will not let anyone attack me personally. When you learn the difference between a debate and personal attack, maybe then we might be able to talk. But, I doubt.. Your head will return from the sky after CSS results only, I'm never replying to any of your threads. Feel free to reply to this with whatever you want. I'm not reading it! Sent from tapatalk

At the end i just say Nazish i wanted to direct you the fact that you look prejudicely upon others,and then try to manupulate the situation very cunningly. Otherwise , im not interested in these talks.Hope you will think about positively,not irrationally. P.s.this time you committed offense! |

Although the discussion has deviated from the original topic but it is interesting anyway, we need to have such open and healthy debates. If we discuss problems, point them out and realise our shortcomings, that will help us rather than keeping our heads in the sand.
By the way, I am a pathan and I think many pathans are feeling bad about the way things are. I also see another 1971 coming, God Forbid. |

If tableegi jamaits are cause of extremism then they must be banned. Prophet of Allah preached Islam for peace and love as the name of religion indicates then everything encouraging factors responsible of terrorism must be condemned either they are looking religious. For suppose today Prophet of Allah was there in us. Would he asked us to keep tableeg continue despite this all we are facing!!! He s.a.w cared humanity over everything. As far as tanleeg is concerned, we are historically rooted in this practice and if tableeg was any good as believed at least we must had most peaceful time compared to all of the world but let it apart we even have not better or good while we are having worst.

A very good decision. Universities are not for proselytizing religious ideas. Universities are for education. Period.
We all know people who abandoned their university studies after the influence of Tableeghi Jamaat. Of course, you have a right to decide how you want to live your life, but spreading ideas inside an educational institute which might influence a student's decision to quit is unacceptable. What's more, such teachings put pressure on non-muslims. In principal, the Tableeghi Jamaat doesn't preach extremism. However, there certainly is a possibility of extremists spreading their message through this Jamaat. And even if they don't, the spectrum of people in this Jamaat definitely includes people with ultra-conservativism. If you study the history of Soviet Era Afghanistan, you will realize how appropriate this decision is. People like Ahmad Shah Massoud, Gulbuddin Hekmatyar were made at the campuses, not in 'galli muhallas'.

Actually Punjab should be divided into many provinces somehow, this will support the federation because everybody will be more equal. Provinces must be forced to spend their development budgets and display annual development reports publicly on their websites so that everyone can see.
Tableeghi Jamaat, Jamiat, Political Unions etc were the precise reasons I did not go to a Public Sector University Campus but opted to study in a well-reputed private engineering university. In fact I stay away from Tableeghi folk as much as I can, I am not a fan of Tariq Jameel even, I don't know when people will understand the reality behind all this. I support political and religious societies at universities but they should be civilised and democratic in nature just like they have in the West. Political Parties and Religious Organisations should not use students for their own vested interests. |

feels much delighted to watch the ding dong battle among the 3 persons in this thread..Of them i found two pro pakhtuns and one unnecessarily deviating the topic for which the thread has been made for.First; Banning tableeghe jamaat is an ad-hoc measure of incumbent govt to combat the menace of extremism or militancy.Pakistan needs long term solution to this matter,NAP has no such point and inflicting on such non violent and toothless group is just like dancing around the fire.
Second; one of the lady expounded very deeply about diff scenarios, vis dhaka fall, 21 grade officers, pathan jokes and do not liking tariq jamil etc etc..you have the right to speak freely but deliberately.i do not consider this site as a reasonable forum for such like discussions.and after all lets abandoned Europenism, Americanism and liberalism, or at least study your eastern values in parallel.As a denizen of a very backward area and living now in capital for last 5 years i got the conclusion that Reality is far more different than just reading books and watching Geo etc. what has been doing to us in the name of state security, fake militancy,self perpetuated dilemmas and across the border terrorism, would be an eye opener if one gets an opportunity to see all the happenings in original color..
