Why we still consider ourselves as perfect beings despite being unable to contribute towards something good towards Modern Society?

I saw this video today, very nice indeed.. There are serious psychological issues prevalent in the muslim world which have to be faced head on rather than brushing them up under the rug.. But more than this, there is a serious emergency when it comes to critical thinking and liberal attitudes.
