Innallilah wa Inna Ilaih e Rajioon

Very Sad news indeed, a person of the level of sitting governor shouldn't have been murdered this way, its very distressful.

But regardless of all sadness and other concerns, Mr. Qadri did one good job. I bet all the topnotch corrupt morons will be quaking in their boots even having so many guards around, and will feel down to earth codding the poor people of Pakistan while being among them.

i salute this man, the late Salman Taseer Sahab. Whatever his views were about the Blasphemy Laws, he did not deserve to be killed for that.

It's like, "supporting rape of a girl, who happens to wear a skirt in the market. and then people instead of condemning the rape, find excuses in the form k larki nay immoral kapray pehnay huway thay"

For this purpose,we should wait for the investigation report/decision of court….

Hadees ka Mafhoom

According to you if burayi is blasphemy then i think we Muslims start living according to sunnah, no one will ever try to do such a thing with our religion. How much knowledge of deen do we have, what are our acts. Instead we have just colonized ourselves to react to certain things so that we can show the strength of our faith(na-oodhubillah)

burayi ko rok kon raha hai or ye kon decide karay ga k burayi kya hai or burayi thi bhi ya nahi....yahan hum sab khud paarsaa samajhtay hain hain dosron ko gunahgaar....

Taseer in life was the perfect personification of a villain for me. In death, he is my hero.

Whatever he was or did, it is overshadowed by the magnificent way God has taken him to the next world. He has died for a cause (whether we support it or not, though i personally do), taken bullets to his chest, and that too not 1 or 2 but 27 of them, shot by a dastardly coward bigot. I envy this last blessing God has endowed him with. May his soul rest in peace forever.

as far as blasphemy law is concerned i agree with xaara, our whole focus is on law and on aasia bibi while we have totally neglected the part muslim women played in aasia bibi's case. The way they behaved with aasia bibi was bad enough to incite her to say something. Why is it that we want others to respect us while we ourselves are not ready to respect them. Our deen has never taught us such bad manners....
@rainy & @xaara
Would you bother to provide me any metrial/web link regarding words of that Muslim Women?

First, my condolence for honourable Governor’s family and friends. May his soul rest in peace, aamen. Second, ours is a dangerously society. We don’t need India, Israel, America to come to destroy us; we are indeed capable enough to carry out there jobs. I don’t blame anyone cursing the deceased governor; I would blame thousand times our politicians and jahil fatwa-proof mullahs. Our politicians play their dirty games on the cost of Pakistan. They never dare in washing their opponent’s dirty linen in the public. Recent example of abusive brawl between the two political parties should be enough for an unaffected soul. I don’t have any interest in the Pakistani politics but I must pay tribute to the soul of the deceased governor. Unlike the chief minister, he wasn’t a coward and never begged for mercy before the militants who kill hundreds of innocent civilians because of their stupid version of jihad. The extremist sect of the Taliban and their co-dwellers of hell has become a nemesis for the country.

thanks

regards

My dear friend,

first of all look into your english. There's a lot of room for improvement.

Secondly, you appear quite hot-tempered. It ought to be best to deal with it timely.

My post was supposed to be a eulogy to his Death, not Life. I said he was the perfect personification of a villain in life. That should sum it up.

When any person is killed unjustly, he is referred to as a Shaheed. It is indisputed that a Shaheed is purged of all his sins, is it not?

It is everybody's discretion to believe what he likes, but i would prefer to believe that Taseer was killed unjustly and I would not hesitate in considering him a martyr.

Have you never heard of the countless stories where disbelievers are blessed by God in the end due to one small good deed (Jewish Lady who fed a hungry dog once). Maybe God liked some deed of Taseer and granted him the best possible end anybody could wish for (Unjust murder/Martyrdom). Can you deny God's power to do so?

God works in mysterious ways my friend. Don't ever consider his power of forgiveness so shallow and his love for his people so hollow that he would stoop to our ignorant levels of thought.

This is what i believe. For some reason, God has bestowed Taseer with the most honourable exit even i envy. If you differ, so you may.

Taking 27 bullets does not make him my hero; taking 27 at the hands of a cowardly fanatic FOR a just cause MAKES him my Hero. You need to comprehend the whole thing in its entirety.

Best
