Any One in the forum who is working in HEC or have access to HEC, please share updates about % phase2batch4 scholarship. Merit, further procedures, and other details are welcomed please.

status quo ?

"Hopefully by the end of Jan 2012"-Rana Shafiq Ahmad, P.D ,HEC.

The dreaded waittttttand the fact that if anyone of us enrolls in a local programme here and then get selected later for this scholarship, he will have a finacial loss, in my case 2 lac PKR

what about acquiring admissions?? i dont think HEC has setup any deadlines regarding the award of scholarship.

and secondly, all of us submitted the online applications too..and all the data is available with them in a software database. I dont think it should take this much long just to build an initial short listing for the scholarship.

I think the person who built the online application has least expertise in software development. I am saying so because the online application was least user-friendly.. when we were to type the year of graduation, we had to scroll down a list of years starting from 1931 and went upto 2020 or so..

this delay is merely due to laziness and pooor management from HEC..

and same was the case with country list too.. I wonder if anyone applying for HEC scholarship will have his/her SSC or HSSC from Nigeria or Afghanistan

my classfellows already got sch. in phase2batch2
they told that aftershortlisting its
-interview(host university/concern agencies
-Award of scholarship letter
-Submission of bond
-Language preparation(incase course of language is not english)


-scholarship amount--950 euros
-Airfair--return ticket
