Exactly dear,

For a middle class family 6 million property is a big issue.

If HEC is stick to this policy, then next time they must declare it in basic eligibility criteria during advertisement.

Dear Friends, HEC will never waive off the Guarantor criteria. Just search for any person who have property. I know it's difficult to find such a person, but I just did, my guarantor and witnesses all are my class fellows.

You should visit HEC..... HEC will help in this regard. One of my friend had told me that if you are unable to provide this proof HEC will help you. They are very co-operative.

I have conveyed my reservations about the concept of guarantor. Even if they don't wave off this requirements, an objection would at least get it on the record; it might help someone in future.
Let's do it for the country!

Mr. Xxxxx (from HEC) talked with me telephonically.
I told him my problem.
He said k they can't wave-off but he has asked for family income
and information etc and whatever we have in reserve (moveable
or immovable).

Moreover, they have framed a policy that one who does not avail
HEC scholarship will be barred from any HEC scholarship for two years.
Means incase I do not avail this time then I maybe able to get any
HEC scholarship in 2015/16.

Guys I have achieved a Chinese government FULL-scholarship too for
English taught masters in engineering (2-years). It is not requiring any
guarantee. Even there is no agreement for 5-years bond.


Shall I go for foreign scholarship or search vigorously for a HEC-scholarship guarantor?

You must Search for Guarantor as the Chinese Universities are not much reputable moreover HEC bond is securing you after that you will get job in Pakistan after your studies.
