میرانام اسلامی جمھوریہ پاکستان ھے۔میں 14 اگست 1947 کو پیدا ہوا اور ایک سال کا تھا کہ ماں يعني جمہوريت فوت ہو گئي اور اس کے بعد باپ يعني اسلام چھوڑ کر کہيں چلا گيا۔ پھر اپنے رشتہ داروں کے گھر بچپن گزارا اور لڑکپن آرمي کی بیرکوں میں۔ جنرل ایوب کے گھر میں بیمار ھوا اور جنرل یحيی کے ھسپتال میں سرجن ذوالفقار علی بھٹو اءر ڈاکٹر مجیب الرّحمان نے میرا ایک بازو کاٹ دیا۔ تب سے اب تک میں معزور فقیر بن کر جگہ جگہ سے بھیک مانگ رہا ہوں۔ پچیس سال کی عمر میں جمہوریّت نصیب ہویی مگر چند سال کے بعد پھر جنرل ضیا الحق نے مجھے فوجی بیرک میں منتقل کر دیا۔ اس نے اسلام کے نام پر مجھے استعمال کیا اور امریکہ کے کہنے پر افغانستان میں روس کے خلاف نبرد آزما ہو گیا۔ اس جنگ نے کلاشنکوف کلچر کو متعارف کرایا۔ جب روس امریکہ کے سٹنگر میزائلوں سے ڈر کر بھاگ گیا تو پھر امریکہ کو جنرل ضیا کی ضرورت نہ رہی کیونکہ اس نے اسلام کے نام پر بادشاہت چمکانے کی کوششيں شروع کر دی تھیں۔ پھر ڈھلتی جوانی میں دو چار جمہوریّت کے ناکام تجربے کیے گیےۓ اب پھر میں فوجی بیرک میں عرصہ چھ سال سے مقیم ہوں اور امریکہ کے رحم وکرم پر ہوں۔ اس انتظار میں ہوں کہ کوئی مخلص اور محب وطن میری دیکھ بھال شروع کرے اور میری قوم سُکھ کے دن گزارنا شروع کرے

I certainly would have considered writing a book ,in case this had been my own text!
