اس کا بھی غم بہت اب معدوم ہو چکا ہے
وہ خوش ہے کھو کے ہم کو معلوم ہو چکا ہے

ہر سوچ میں وہ میری کچھ ایسے بس گیا ہے
ہر فعل میرا اس سے موسوم ہو چکا ہے

کیا بات ہو گئی ہے بادل نہیں برستا
وہ حال پر تو میرے مغموم ہو چکا ہے

رہتا ہے وہ نظر میں چاہے کہیں بھی جائے
آنکھوں میں ایک چہرہ مرقوم ہو چکا ہے

اک بار لوگ پھر سے دیوانے ہو رہے ہیں
کہتے ہیں وہ دوبارہ معصوم ہو چکا ہے

ہر شخص کہہ رہا ہے میرا اداس چہرہ
اس بے وفا کے غم کا مفہوم ہو چکا ہے

جو زندگی کے سارے دُکھ درد بانٹتا تھا
اس سائے سے صفی اب محروم ہو چکا ہے

Mery sathi meri roh jab mery jism sy parwaz ker jaey,
To tum lote ana,
Meri bey khawb ratoon k azaboon per siskatey shehre main tum bhi,
Tum bhi thori si dair ko rukna,
Mery bey noor hontoon ki duawoon per,
Tum apni sard pashani ka pather rakh k ro daina,
Bas itni si bat keh daina,
Mujhy tum sy muhabbat hy.
