Tu nai agiyar sai mehfil ko saja rkha hai
mei nai khud sai bhi mgr khud ko bacha rkha hai
kia ua tu jo mery sath nahi chal skta
hmsafar yaad k jhonkon ko bna rkha hai
umr bhar sath na chorain gy, sada chahain gai
sirf alfaz thy alfaz mei kia rkha hai
baiwaja mei nai bhi giriba'n ko chak nahi kia
sang tu nai bhi tou hathon mai utha rkha hai
thi firozaan kabhi is shama muhabat jis mei
mujh ko diwana usi dil nai bna rkha hai
dm bakhud daikh rha hai woh mery daman ko
mery daman mei tou sirf khawab-e-wafa rkha hai

سچ اچھا، پر اسکے جلو میں ، زہر کا اک پیالا بھی
پاگل ہو؟ کیوں ناحق کو سقراط بنو، خاموش رہو

حق اچھا پر اس کے لیے کوئی اور مرے تو اور اچھا
تم بھی کوئی منصور ہو جو سولی پہ چڑھو؟ خاموش رہو

ان کا یہ کہنا سورج ہی دھرتی کے پھیرے کرتا ہے
سر آنکھوں پر، سورج ہی کو گھومنے دو، خاموش رہو

مجلس میں کچھ حبس ہے اور زنجیر کا آہن چبھتا ہے
پھر سوچو، ہاں پھر سوچو، ہاں پھر سوچو، خاموش رہو

گرم آنسو اور ٹھنڈی آہیں، من میں کیا کیا موسم ہیں
اس بگیا کے بھید نہ کھولو، سیر کرو، خاموش رہو

آنکھیں موند کنارے بیٹھو، من کے رکھو بند کواڑ
انشا جی لو دھاگا لو اور لب سی لو، خاموش رہو

کیمیا گر! پرکھ تو سہی
اور پرکھ کر ہمیں بتا
کون سی دھات کے خواب ہیں
جو پگھلتے نہیں اور بکھرتے نہیں خاک پر

!کیمیا گر
ہمارے دکھوں کا مداوا نہ کر
پر ہماری کسی بات پر یوں نہ ہنس
کہ ہماری جگہ ترے آنسو نکل آئیں۔۔۔ ۔۔۔ ہم ہنس پڑیں
کیمیا گر!اگرچہ ہماری مسافت کی گھڑیاں زیادہ نہیں
اور ہمارا بدن بھی تھکن سے نہیں ٹوٹتا
اور آنکھیں بھی زندہ ہیں دل کی طرح
پر ہمیں اس مسافت میں رہنے کے سارے پیچ و خم
کھا گئے۔
دوستوں نے جو ڈالے تھے یہ سوچ کر
کہ ہمیں اپنی منزل سے پہلے تھکن لوٹ لے۔۔۔

!کیمیا گر
ہمارا ھنر دیکھ، ہم نے کٹھن راستوں کے سیہ پتھروں کو
لہو کی اَنی اور نظر کی ہتھوڑی سے کیسے تراشا
کہ اب لوگ ان کو بھی خوابوں کی تعبیر کہنے لگے

!کیمیا گر
زرِ خواب سے آنکھ خالی ہوئی
پاس کچھ بھی نہیں
!کچھ پرکھ تو سہی
!کچھ بتا تو سہی
کون سی دھات کے خواب ہیں
...!!!!جو پگھلتے نہیں اور بکھرتے نہیں خاک پر

چلو پھر نفرتوں کی آگ کو اخلاص کے چشموں
سے دھو ڈالیں
جنہوں نے دل بہ دل، لمحہ بہ لمحہ
بدگمانی کاشت کی ہے، اُن وفا ناآشنا
سوچوں کو
ذہنوں سے کُھرچ کر
دیدہ و نادیدہ کو زمین پر
لگائیں،
آؤ سب مِل جُل کر کچھ زیتون کی شاخیں
کہ جن کے شبنمی سائے میں خوابوں کا بسیرا ہو
جہاں حدِ تخیل تک سویرا ہی سویرا ہو،
چلو پھر ریشمی خوابوں، محبت خیز جذبوں
اوس قطروں کی طرح شفاف بن جائیں،
کو باہم ایک کر کے امن کی تفسیر بن جائیں
چلو پھر مل کے ہم سب آنے والے دور کی تقدیر
بن جائیں۔۔۔
چلو پھر آنے والی رُت کا استقبال کرتے ہیں
محبت ہی محبت کاشت اب کے سال کرتے ہیں
!سُنو لوگو
کہ اب کے سال ہم سب کو سِتاروں کی ضرورت ہے
بہاروں کی ضرورت ہے
ذرا سوچو تو آپس کے سہاروں کی ضرورت ہے
چلو پھر آنے والی رُت کا استقبال کرتے ہیں
...!!!محبت ہی محبت کاشت اب کے سال کرتے ہیں

کس کور چشم شب میں ستارا کیا مجھے

زخمِ ہُنر کو سمجھے ہُوئے گُلِ ہنر
کس شہرِ نا سپاس میں پیدا کیا مجھے

جب حرف نا شناس یہاں لفظ فہم میں
کیوں ذوقِ شعر دے کے تماشا کیا مجھے

خوشبو ہے، چاندنی ہے،لبِ جُو ہے اور میں

دی تشنگی خدا نے تو چشمے بھی دے دیے
سینے میں دشت، آنکھوں میں دریا کیا مجھے

مَیں یوں سنبھل گئی کہ تری بے وفائی نے
بے اعتباریوں سے شناسا کیا مجھے

وہ اپنی ایک ذات میں کُل کائنات تھا
دُنیا کے ہر فریب سے مِلوا دیا مجھے

اوروں کے ساتھ میرا تعارف بھی جب ہُوا
ہاتھوں میں ہاتھ لے کر وہ سوچا کیا مجھے

بیتے دنوں کا عکس نہ آئندہ کا خیال
بس خالی خالی آنکھوں سے دیکھا کیا مجھے

رستہ بھی کٹھن دھوپ میں شدّت بھی بہت تھی
سائے سے مگر اس کو محبت بھی بہت تھی

خیمے نہ کوئی میرے مسافر کے جلائے
زخمی تھا بہت پاؤں، مسافت بھی بہت تھی

وہ بھی سرِ مقتل ہے کہ سچ جس کا تھا شاہد
اور واقفِ احوال عدالت بھی بہت تھی

خوش آئے تجھے شہرِ منافق کی امیری
ہم لوگوں کو سچ کہنے کی عادت بھی بہت تھی

میں اُداس چاند کا باغ ہوں، میں گئے دنوں کا سُر اغ ہوں
مری شاخ شاخ جھلس گئی ، مرا پھول پھول بکھر گیا

وہ سفید پھولوں سی اِک دُعا مرے ساتھ ساتھ رہی سدا
یہ اسی کا فیض ہے بارہا میں بکھر بکھر کے سنور گیا

مرےآنسوؤں کی کتاب بھی،تیری خو شبو ؤں سےمہک گئی
مر ا شعر ہے ترا آئینہ جہاں شام آئی سنور گیا
