General (r) Pervaiz Musharaf controlled everything when he was in power. He gave permission to Americans to take control of the Shahbaz airbase Jacobabad and an airbase in Balochistan. According to a few Generals of his time he did not discuss that and let his own Generals remain aloof of the matter. This may be the rules of business at every where one sees the people from forces.

Even today one can see a so called democratic government but still four ministries are under direct control of military bureaucracy namely: Foreign/Finance/Defense/Interior

Any person from HR could have answered. Why then I was put through to a Colonel? Think.

@lahorizen
okay i get your point, i'll rephrase. "not everyone is the same" the learning they bring from their parent department, does have an impact on NAB as an organisation.
and i understand why they are arrogant, i mean, what successful person isn't, of course, minus a few examples but being rude is a different ball game altogether!
i do totally agree with you about the recruitment process of public services. there's a letter to the editor @dawn about CSS examination, you should read it, you might find it interesting.
there're no psychological tests for general recruitment through FPSC, and you're right we don't eventually get the right person for the job. just to serve as an example, a PHd may not be deemed fit for the post of NAB BS 17. but a person who's just completed 16 years of education may be. all these things are over looked, and this list is never ending. im sure we can't expect this to get fixed in a few days, it's going to take years, maybe a decade or two.

have you heard people talk about the "luck" factor in public services examinations. it's only there because of the incompetencies of the recruitment body, or an organisations HR in case of direct recruitment. "luck" is a name given to circumstances that are beyond one's control- in this case the circumstances or factors associated with the recruitment process.

@mirusama

I agree with you to the extent that a criminal should NEVER be lucky enough to get through.

Only Allah [J/S] Knows the best.
What I had described in my previous post about a query regarding the time frame for the grade 18 Interview is true word by word.

Who is stupid, knucklehead, or dirty can be observed from the following posts: 1067 1068.

For those who disagree "inherent bureaucracy." Let me remind them. I read in my primary text book that "Quaid-e-Azam Mohmmad Ali Jinnah was born in Jhirk, a small village at that time." Now no one agrees it. A Big U Turn from the facts written in the official text books taught to poor souls like me during our age at the time." Today this fact has been changed. Whom to blame? the bureaucratic thugs or innocent people ?
Stop whinning.
The only difference between you and the shouting moderator is that you are crazily stupid while he is arrogantly stupid.
