yes this is right. Do not frustrate the NAB management by writing letters etc. they are already dealing with enough of this. i.e 1st Petition by NAB old employees..... then petition by Candidates who failed in Psychological test.......Then calls by successful candidates again and again.......

NAB management have told several time in in news that they are serious about this hiring. So keep patience and let them do there work.

Thanks.

You are right. First let us cofirm our names in the final list then we would do all that is required. That would force us to do a whole hearted effort. We all are waiting for the final list.

Chairman NAB is unduly concerned about this hiring, but he is faced with some hitches that restrict him from issuing offer letters. So, writing letters to newspapers or NAB authorities will not work, I think. Think about something else.
Calm down all, first i wish you all go through the sections subject to proposed amendment ! it has nothing to hamper our appointment !!! just wait patiently and pray for success .

Dear you must understand that legislature is deliberating on few NAB ordinance sections which eventually form an other accountability agency , so coming hiring shall not be discredited !!! A NEW LAW IS UNDER DELIBERATION WHICH COULD HAVE NEW NAME OF ORGANISATION !!!REST ASSURED !!!

you can be right or otherwise. i think this process of new recruitments in NAB can be best explained by that parliamentary committee members as they must be aware of this process of induction in it. we are all making guesses for our selves to be in great hope but are unaware of the matter behind the closed doors. You people dont think that it will be a good idea to visit senate website and take the contact numbers and emails addresses of them which are present there and ask them about the future of these new employees as to be affected by that new bill or not. it is my opinion only as they might have discussed the issue in there meetings on that new accountability bill.

ISLAMABAD: A parliamentary panel on Monday met behind closed doors to discuss the newly introduced The National Accountability Commission Bill 2012 but fell short of convincing the opposition to come onboard.
Law Minister Farooq H Naek said that the National Assembly Standing Committee on Law and Justice had examined the entire bill, adding that the committee would meet again on November 14 to address those clauses of the bill on which consensus could not be evolved.
However, the main opposition party Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has reservations over the bill in its entirety.
Criticising the bill, PML-N’s Zahid Hamid told reporters that the proposed commission is nothing more than a toothless authority as it fails to empower the commission.
“The commission would not have the authority to freeze property (of the accused) out of the country,” he added.
Hamid also expressed concerns of his party over the fact that the commission would not have the authority to investigate cases older than 10 years.
According to the new bill, the chairman of the commission can either be a retired Supreme Court judge or someone who has served as a grade-22 federal government officer.
In the previous bill, the opposition had insisted the chairman be a retired Supreme Court judge.
The government has tabled the new bill during the last month after Standing committee on Law and Justice could not evolve consensus over The National Accountability Commission Act, 2010.

The proposed law provides for a selection committee for appointment of employees in Grade 1 to 16 as may be determined by NAC.

The selection of the employees in Grade 16 and above will be made on the basis of written test by an outside independent agency, and the viva voce conducted by the board or the committee, as the case may be.

The relevant portion of the NAC bill is as follows:-

Sc 44(2) clause f ..... The employees serving on deputation or attachment with the NAB shall stand repatriated to their parent department;

Sc 44(2) clause g .... the service of contract employees shall stand terminated on one month notice or one month pay in lieu;

Sc 44(2) clause h.... the employees appointed as other than on deputation or contract, shall be sent to the establishment department in a surplus pool.

after having a look into the bill, if it get passed as appeared, what should be the status of those who have been interviewed lastly?

There are two possibilities:

(1) If the proposed law comes into force before the interviewees get the status of employees; in this case there will be no remedy to them at all. (in most cases a person is considered "employee" only after submission of his joining/arrival.)

(2) If it comes into force after their appointment/joining/ arrival etc. then "clause g" will be applicable to them, as the post were on contract basis...( see the words in the ads {in urdu it appeared as}.. جن كے جاری رھنے کا امکان ھے.)

However the new commission may, if it deems fit, keep the current process unaffected and select interviewees under Sc 9 read with Sc 45.
