NAB chairman was so upset last night at a press conference and was stressing that that he wont resign from his post. He urged that he is having a war with curroption and will win the battle. He did not mention what has compelled him to make a press confference . But i have come to know a good news today that the new accountability bill is not going to be presented in this NA session and will likely be put on table in NA session of December. So i think we are making it to NAB if this organization is interested in recruiting us. May we get appointment letters before that INSHALLAH.

Arrow Letter written by a candidate in "The Express Tribune"

Salam to all members, I am new to this Forum and this is my first post. Before this i was regular reader of this forum but now i decided to join it.
Here I am copying the text of letter which a candidate wrote to daily "The Express Tribune" and it was published on 19th November, 2012. The name of candidate is "Ishtiaer Hussain" and he appeared in test and interview for the post of JIO.
I applied for the post of junior investigation officer at the National Accountability Bureau last year. Thousands of candidates applied for different posts advertised by the Bureau in November of 2011. The services of the National Testing Service (NTS) were hired to conduct two tests to evaluate the general competence and psychological suitability of the candidates. With a prominent position on the merit list put together by the NTS, after general competence and psychological tests, I was impressed with the transparency and efficiency of the process. Afterwards, NAB carried out interviews in all provincial capitals as well as in Islamabad. But now rumours are circulating that with the passage of National Accountability Commission (NAC) bill, which will replace the NAB Ordinance of 1999, the recruitment of new candidates will become null and void.
There is also the possibility that the upcoming caretaker government before the general election may disregard the hiring process initiated by NAB. In view of the aforementioned circumstances, there is considerable uncertainty in the minds of the prospective candidates.
NAB should clarify whether these candidates are going to be inducted in the new organisation if the NAC bill is passed.

My brothers and sisters....
NAB hai tou batao konsi corruption mein kami agai hai ?
Chairman NAB 2, 4 din mein 1 statement de detay hain kay " Corruption barh gai hai mein resign nahi donga koi hatana chahay tou hata day "

I am sick of it jo seat pe bethta hai Elfy laga ker bethta hai utarnay ka naam hi nahi leta " Akhlaqi Jurrat " hai rahi is qaum main ab qaumain tabhi taraqqi kerti hain jab in mein akhlaqi jurrat ho warna wo qaum chahe " Atom Bomb " hi bana le us ko har koi marta hai or qo siwai is beyaan kay " Hum condemn kerte hain " kuch nahi ker saktay.

Aap ko yaad hoga kay jub Norway ki intelligence agents ka Pakistan mein active hone ki news aai thi tou Norway ki Intelligence Chief ne resign de diya tha or kaha tha kay main is ohdhay kay liae eligible nahi kyun kay mere agents ki mojoodgi ka ilm sub ko ho gaya......

Isay kehtay hain apne profession or mulk se wafadari or akhlaqi jurrat ye qualities Muslims ki thien jo ab sirt inhi mein nahi rahi Chariman NAB ko jab pata hai kay corruption qabu kerna in kay bas ki baat nahi tou phir solution is "Resignation" or dosron ko moqa dain kaam kerne ka mulk ko or barbaad na karain Democracy ne pehle hi mulk o qaum ko tabah o barbad ker diya hai. Aap logo kay NAB main jane se

1. corruption kam ho jaigi ?
2. Kya aap imandari se kaam kerainge ?
3. kya log aap ko azaadi se kaam kerne dainge ?
4. kya aap ki jaan ki hifazat ki koi guarantee hogi kisi baray aadmi kay khilaaf investigation kerne pe ?

ye wo questions hain jo mere zehan mein hain or ab sochta hon kay Allah kay har kaam mein maslehat hoti hain mera NAB mein na jana bhi theek hi hain kyun kay mein kaam kerta hon azaadi se Asghar Khan Case mein jo retired general akar rahay thay dimagh saaf ker deta unka main or bolta kay " Aap mulzim hain or mulzimo ko ouchi awaaz zaib nahi deti" chahe mujhy is ki kitni hi qimat ada kerni parti but Waqas tou aesa hi kerta magr Pakistan mein aesa kerne walo ko zinda chora nahi jata......

Tou meri un tamam candidates se appeal or request hai " Is mulk kay bosida or corrupt system ko hum tum ne hi theek kerna hai kaam kerna tou puri himmat or imandari kay sath or jab ye mehsoos karo kay tumhain roka ja raha hai tou khudara ya tou us rukawat ko jurh se ukhaar phainkna ya phir resign de dena Fasih Bukhari, Bashir Biloor, Rehman Malik etc na banna wo just statement de ker apni zamadari puri ker dete hain warna humari next generation humain kabi mauf nahi karegi......."

Default NAB chief vows to ‘resist pressure’

@TheWaqas

ISLAMABAD: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Admiral (retd) Fasih Bokhari said on Saturday he would never resign and would continue to work for elimination of corruption. “If authorities concerned want me out of office,
they can remove me,” he said at a press
conference. The NAB chairman did not elaborate on what had
compelled him to hold the press conference. But sources in the bureau said he was under
tremendous pressure after initiating
investigations against top politicians, generals
and other influential persons. Mr Bokhari said nothing could diminish his
resolve to fight corruption. However, he added, there was no pressure on
NAB from the Presidency or the General
Headquarters. “I will fight corruption in collaboration with
regulators and officials,” Mr Bokhari said. He said the NAB had reshaped its strategy by
bringing the aspect of prevention to the
forefront. Giving an overview of major achievements of
NAB over the past six months under the
prevention and awareness regime, he explained
the strategy and re-prioritisation in his anti-
corruption efforts in which the prevention
regime had been given top priority to ensure prevention of corruption along with enforcement
practices. “In the past the NAB concentrated on criminal
acts, victimisation and cognizance of
misappropriations in procurements already done.
This approach has been replaced with the more
comprehensive, robust anti-corruption regime
based on prevention, awareness and enforcement,” he said. The NAB chairman claimed major successes in
preventing corruption at the highest level
without discrimination or victimisation. He said since March, 173 projects of federal and
provincial level were scrutinised by the NAB,
carrying a financial impact of Rs14.75 billion. “The
projects and corresponding amounts prevented
from corruption are: 14 projects at federal level
(Rs15.26bn), 55 at Sindh level (Rs26.3bn), 78 at Punjab level (Rs11.2bn), 12 at Balochistan level
(Rs9.6bn) and 14 at Khyber Pakhtunkhwa level
(Rs1bn).” The nature of NAB diligence covered pre- and
post-procurement misdemeanours in projects, he
said. It covered matters ab initio in which gross
violations of Public Procurement Regulatory
Authority (PPRA) rules or departmental rules/
procedures had been observed, he said. Representative projects pertained to Wapda,
Capital Development Authority and Port Qasim
Authority (PQA), he said. He said Wapda increased the cost of Neelum
Jhelum project from PC-I value of Rs84bn to
Rs321bn. The authority violated PPRA rules in
award of a contract to a Chinese firm regarding
procurement of thrust boring machines at a cost
of Rs19.5bn, he said. He said the PQA and the Karachi Port Trust had
been engaged to restrain them from committing
corruption in a dredging operation, purchase of a
75 ton bollard pull tug and allotment of plots. Substantial corrections, revisions of draft
contracts and compliance to rules had been
exercised by various departments, including the
National Highway Authority, the Pakistan
Telecommunication Authority, the Universal
Service Fund Company, the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited and the Oil and Gas
Development Company Limited, he said.

I request to all members of this thread please dont play a mourning session here. A serious discussion is going on here and the future of hundreds of candidates is at stake. Remember every winter is followed by its summer. Pakistan would definately has its good days in future. Whether there is Nab or not this country will be there with all its glory and greatness. I understand the frustration and fears but beyond that is victory. All those who have appeared and qualified have every legatimate right to be concerned and express their concerns.
