No, I am not offended at all. I have my fingers on his pulse to understand the kind of situation he may be in after not being able to make it to the last. I do my best to be selective in my words attempting not to hurt anyone, but I think in the last post, I did not say anything you meant 'diatribe'. If someone is out, one should not be out of oneself to say whatever comes to one’s mind. There are many ways to draw someone's attetion to unclear things; but using a painful word 'ill move' is not reflective of a healthy mind. NAB is going to be our employer, offered us a job and arranges for our training. Look at this in a bigger perspective. I have been stressing in my previous post that NAB has done a fabulous job to uphold the principles of merit in this hiring. Somebody comes out of nowhere and says that we have been trapped in 'ill move', should we feel nice about it? I do not know this person, but certainly he is trying to rock the boat by directing our attention to the seamy side, in fact, non-existent thing. I am less concerned with terms & conditions of the offer letter but more displeased with his word ‘ill- move’ to cast aspersions on NAB’s integrity. |

A question for you Mr. Abro!
Why NAB employees were asking for promotions and filed a petition when these posts are purely temporary? I think it is not necessary to tell you that temporary posted employees do not count towards seniority. Here is my pulse again...grab it. |

Brother, I do not want to argue about it. Let’s say these positions are temporary, it should not be the concern for anybody not relevant to this selection. Your repeating stress on the word 'purely temporary' has an extremely negative connotation and is enough to hurt the selectees’ feelings. You were one of the strongest advocates of NAB's integrity and impartiality in this recruitment, then you found yourself out, you started finding flaws in it by first highlighting adjustment of guys not called for interviews and then jeeringly saying that these are temporary jobs. I will appreciate if you could tell us which organizations spends millions of bucks on 10 months long training for 'purely temporary' officers? Have you read the rules referred in the offer letters? Do these rules say that we are purely temporary employees? Do the ‘purely temporary’ employees have probationary period? For your kind information, NAB hires employees in three categories: contingent (mostly for ministerial staff) contract and permanent. There is no fourth category. Brother, I will be perhaps the oldest person among all new ADs, and in my personal and professional life, I have experiences untold distractions like the one you create. No love lost, we are brothers, and I wish you all the best in your future endeavours for best opportunities |

Congratulations on your success in CSS-2012 written, and wishing you good luck for your allocation. I am also from FATA (Belongs to AFRIDI tribe). I have a question if you or anybody else on this forum can answer. I am selected for a JIO, however i didn't qualify for AD interview. I have scored 59 in AD test whereas the cut-off marks were 63 for AD in case of GB/FATA. If you and/or other selectees for AD from FATA/GB don't join, will NAB give us the offer of joining as AD as i know there is hardly 2 candidates scoring between 59 to 63 for the post of AD. Further if you leave training in midst because of allocation in CSS, will NAB change our scale and designation during training period to adjust the seating proportion??? |

The sentence " temporary but likely to be made permanent" should have been included. Tough call for people already on good permanent job !
