Once I find a house I will be looking for a partner to share one room for his exclusive use while the other room will be retained by me. This partner should be a professional and sober person. The breakup of all expenditures will be as under:

Rent - 15000
Utilities - 5000
Cook and cleaner - 10000 (We will work this out and may go for doing all cooking and cleaning ourselves with each other’s understanding.)
Groceries - 10000 maximum (Depending on what we eat.)

Total - Rs.40,000 maximum and share for each person is Rs.20000 a month.

We will initially need to arrange for paraphernalia’s, i.e. refrigerator, beds, study table, dining table and utensils; we can buy second handed stuff from OLX at cheap rates. We will not buy everything in one go, that will be done gradually. Once we finish the training we will sell them out to get our money back. Remember, you have to score at least 50% marks to qualify this training. Time is short and I will travel to Islamabad on money to make all these arrangements.

Any one interested may contact me at my email id. Only serious people contact.

I can help the needy females colleagues as well in finding their accommodation.

for those who r undecided to join NAB based on the Terms & conditions in our offer letter...

firstly, the Terms and Conditions in the offer letter are all legal and do not necessarily mean that our job in NAB will discontinue abruptly unless we really screw up in our stay at NAB...

secondly, the training period for 7 to 9 months may be taken as learning phase in our professional career. in case one feels after completion of successful training period that NAB is not for them, they may quit after having to pay NAB back the expenses incurred on their training.. (training cost comes out to be about or part of 70 k per candidate for 7 months stay without the salary drawn by them. salary is usually not paid back.)

thirdly, NAB didnt provide any boarding and lodging facilities which is not a relief who will have to find a decent stay in ISB... nevertheless, the active members in this forum sound very helpful in finding a decent accommodation on sharing basis which should be utilized mutually.

next, the salary may be as per following (just an estimate)

JIOs- between 25 to 30 k

ADs - 38 to 43 k

DDs - 55 to 75 k ( depending on what their actual basic salary is in their respective departments)

in addition to the above, i think NAB may or may not reimburse a part of what will be paid by us as rent on accommodation

i have been selected as a DD.. so all in general and DDs in particular may msg me on fb for further communication...

lets all be friends for we will be spending lots of time together in a new city shaping our career in future.

regards.

Dear when government announces budget , most likely increments in salaries are also announced. As earlier I read somewhere that NAB is an autonomous organization so will those increments in salaries will also apply to NAB employees?

I found the format and acceptance letter correct except the date to be mentioned on upper right corner of the page near recipient's name & address.
Please correct me as I thought we have to submit medical fitness certificate, character certificates, undertaking and other such documents with acceptance letter. Or we have to provide at the time of our joining?

Yes, such salary raise is applicable for NAB employees. Salary raise for BPS employees is generally raised twice in a year.

1) Salary raise (10% to 20%) is generally announced in the budget around June every year. But it is not mandatory for a government to raise salaries every year, but generally they do so for inflation reasons.

A. Such % raise is applicable on your Running Basic Salary (RBS) and as a result it revises your Basic Salary as well. The same % raise also proportionately increases other non-frozen basic salary dependent allowances as well.

OR B. At other times, government may choose to pay the % salary raise on RBS as an Adhoc Relief Allowance (ARA). This is generally not welcomed by employees as it does neither revises RBS nor such % raise changes your other allowances proportionately.

2) Other salary raise is called 'Annual Increment' that is applicable at year end i.e 31st December. For example: for a BPS an Annual Increment for such a BPS Scale (10000-800-34000) would be Rs. 800. This again would revise your RBS and other non-frozen basic salary dependent allowances.

A few latest updates regarding Salary
------------------------------------
-- Yesterday, a reliable source at DD level confirmed that although TCS Rules 2002 mentions an 80% NAB Allowance, however couple of years back when scales were revised (2011 probably as that's when the scales were revised), NAB allowance was revised to 15% of RBS and the field allowance(not admissible during training) at the rate of 50% RBS.

--Moreover, he told me house ceiling is admissible upto 15K in federal territory, and for all other areas in Pakistan it's admissible upto 12K. And he suggested that he doesn't see any reason why NAB should not make it admissible for the trainees at the same rates.
