Read this excerpt from Advertisement,

5. PROCEDURE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION:
All aspirants shall apply Online. They shall submit four hard copies of their Online Form, duly signed, alongwith all attested documents as mentioned in the checklist and a copy of Treasury Receipt of RS-1000 / =, so as to reach the Secretary SPSC, Head Office within 15 days after the closing date


Four hard copies of online form along with all attested documents mentioned in the checklist that you'll get after you apply online.

Its simple you have to send one set of documents duly attested with 4 hard copies of online form. That checklist includes following documents that are also mentioned in instructions online,

1. A Certificate from the University that the candidate has passed the Degree Examination.

2. Certificate from the Controller of Examinations of the University showing the exact date of the announcement of the result.

3. Matriculation or Secondary School Certificate issued by the concerned Board showing the date of birth.

4. Domicile Certificate from the concerned Authority of the District to which the candidate belongs.

5. Permanent Residence Certificate (Form-D) of the candidate himself/herself as required under Rule 7 of the Sindh Permanent Residence Certificate Rules 1971 for the purpose of recruitment to Public Service in Sindh.

6. The candidate must upload latest passport size photo with white background facing camera directly with both eyes open and full face in view.

7. The following Character Certificate in case the candidate is not a Government Servant:-

a.From the Principal or Academic Officer of his/her University or College or School last attended, and,

b.From two responsible persons who are well acquainted with him/her in and not connected with his/her University or College or School.

8. In the case of those Government Servants who come in the category of para 8 iii(b) a certificate from the Head of Department or Office showing that he/she has atleast four years Government Service at his/her credit on 1st of September, of the advertisement year. (This is like DPC showing your length of your service)

Yes, you may submit this DPC if you are a government servant as you have to apply through proper channel.

I'm not sure about who to turn to for DPC in education department. You may contact any district office for such query, you will be properly guided about it.

Although its not mentioned in the checklist but should we also send our intermediate certificate ? i dont knwo if its required or not? can't take any risk of rejection.

This is for transcript and yes you have to submit it.




This is DPC and in order to apply through proper channel you have to submit it.

Is it okay if I apply as fresh without through proper channel. If I am selected in PCS, I will resign from the govt job. I do not need its GP funds, neither its service to be counted in PCS because I am feeling very difficulty in getting DPC. Will there be any problem if applied without DPC?

Its a mistake I guess as it is related with age relaxation and that is para 8(b) that deals with age relaxation. DPC is Departmental Permission Certificate, its a NOC and shows your length of service. As required length of service for age relaxation is 4 years that is why it is required to make age relaxation claim valid.

However, I'm not sure about it where this para 11 is because in instructions there is no para 11,a,b,c etc


However, you have to apply through proper channel as you are currently employed. Many candidates do hide their job but I would not recommend it because if in future someone discloses this info, you might be facing difficult consequences at that time.

This is para 8 of the online application instructions,

8(a)No person shall be admitted to the Examination unless He/She:-
i.Is a Graduate from a recognized University.
ii.Is not less than 21 years and not more than 30 years on 1st of September, of the advertisement year.
iii.In the case of candidates from schedule castes the upper age limit is 31 years on 1st September, of the advertisement year.

8(b)In the case of candidates who are serving in connection with the affairs of the Federation and are Domiciled in Sindh and persons serving in connection with the affairs of the Province of Sindh with a total service of at least Four years on 1st September, of the advertisement year, the upper age limit shall be 35 years[Now 37].
