Is there any way or possibility to change Staff College for training that is mentioned on appoitment letter????

I went to staff college, they told that we cant give joining before 4th july, our official joining will be on 4th july.

Dont make this mistake, any such move on your part will tantamount to playing with one's career.One has to withdraw from MTO scheme and move to lower grade incae of request for transfer. I know a fellow whose promotion has been withheld on same rounds:He once applied for transfer , though he didnt opt to withdraw from MTO Scheme and thereby stayed at same place.

Joining i taken on the day one starts service, 4th July in your case.

Staff College can be changed for training but not your final place of posting. Contact Yousaf Sahab.. he will guide you better.

No matter you are posted in Gilgit... just go for NBP and dont think of leaving this opportunity.. thts my advice to you.

you can compare both jobs, If u'r comfortable with your present job then you can continue..otherwise join NBP! Most of the people are not Posted in their native towns, so posting shouldn't be an issue.. you must compare both jobs & your priorities, then take final decision..

Whetever the circumstances are, MCB is not a paralel of NBP. I list hereunder few advantges of joing NBP over MCB

1-clearly defined career path up to AVP(IN MCB you will be promoted to Grade 1 if u work as BM and show good deposit growth)
2-job security(you must be aware of retrenchments in MCB during 2008-09)
3-Medical facility for self , spouse n parents.MCB though provide such facility through catch card of adamjee insurance it is not with innumerable limitations and restrictions
4-lesser work load
5-pension
6-Education Allownce
7-Marrige grant
8-Reasonable annual increment in comparison to 3 ,5 and 7 pc in MCB.
9- Almost 6 basic asalaries bonus during a yaer(MCB has only one Performance bonus )

I would advise you to go for NBP in given circumstances ...
