Thomas eddisson is a renowned scientist;an inventor who has more than a thousand inventions to his credit.but,a few people know that in his early life, eddison was a dumb student and a slow learner.his mother gave him the courage and support which eventually transformed him into the most prolific inventor of all times.

Peace hath her victories
No less renowned than war

Peace is not an ideal state,a far-fetched idea or a mere philosophy. It is the essential message of every religion whether it be Buddhism, Christianity or Islam. It is a very broad term, which could not be confined to environmental factors only. The peace with in oneself, gained through meditation, strengthens one's capability of perceiving and dealing with different adversities of life.It nurtures calmness, develops rationality, provides a greater insight and better understanding about the human behavior.
while, war is just a sheer use of power to impose ones will over others; for the purpose of acquisition of land or goods. The effects and utilities of war are limited and very destructive, on the other hand, the victories of peace are far reaching, perpetual and highly effective.Peace is the pillar of an economy, with out which no industry could run, there will be meager trades and high levels of inflation.Similarly, the Educational,Health and Tourism sector requires peace to operate properly and effectively in order to yield maximum benefits.
After the end of world war2 ,the west realized that, they have wasted their efforts, time and money in a worthless battle. This realization led them to the understanding and implementation of peace in the society; for achieving true excellence in the areas of science and generally, in all spheres of life.
Hence, the victories of peace are far reaching and long lasting. The biggest proof of its success is the rapid development in the fields of science and technology, which has transformed the world into a global village.

Its a good effort but I want to mention few things for your improvement.

Firstly before writing any piece be it essay, expansion or precis one should keep one thing in mind that it must be in coherence, meaning that your ideas should be in harmony with each other. For example after first two lines you suddenly came with the idea of "inner peace" and then you related peace with economy and environmental factors. Your ideas are unrelated with each other showing your incoherent thoughts.

Secondly reading and knowledge strengthen your ideas. The more you read the more persuasive and cogent arguments you would have. For example you mentioned that after Second World War West realized the importance of peace and that led to understanding and implementation of peace in the society. Your assertion is absolutely wrong because initiation of wars have never been linked with societies. All out war is the state affair. And after Second World War peace was not implemented in societies as such, it was basically imposed on state mechanism. World leaders and state policymakers realized the importance of peace in international politics.

Thirdly your english composition of grammar and spelling is fine but your thoughts and ideas are not in agreement.

Fourthly one needs to think million times before choosing any topic that he possesses correct and enough knowledge to express his views persuasively because this is what the tragedy is that one does not get the true meaning of the topic and reproduce some other idea. One's complete effort becomes useless. Francis Bacon once said "If your thoughts are clear then you do not need any other effort because thoughts instantly become words".

Keep the hard work up an you will get your result.

I second your thoughts. You have spoken my heart.

Indeed, flow and coherence are the main parts of expressions. The same thing I have learned and have been telling others. One must keep thoughts like the beans of rosary. There should be chain of thoughts and imaginations.
And, when one presents and jots down the ideas should use simple and comprehensible language. Simplicity matters a lot. One must write in such a way so a common man could understand one's expressions easily.

Keep contributing, Dear. Thanks.

what fools these mortals be

When God created the universe, he appointed human beings as his subjugates, because of the cognitive thinking ability, which they were blessed with; it was expected that, man will fulfill his duties efficiently and he will carry out the commands given to him. But, Alas, man is oblivious of the purpose of his creation; he meddles himself in petty issues, fights over fragile things and quarrel over unworthy plans. Albert Einstein one said,‘ two things are infinite; the universe and human stupidity; though I am not sure about the universe’.
To err is human; and mankind has always proved it by ; wagging wars on minor disputes , polluting the land with lethal chemicals, depleting ozone layer, dumping toxins in the sea, cutting off forests in the name of industrial revolution, harboring a corrupt political system, mismanagement , food crisis, global warming and what not? Perhaps, mankind seldom uses its brain and it were these actions of utter stupidity and blunders that led Voltaire to say that, ‘the common sense is not common’ .
Thus, from Adam and Ave to the present date; man has always been ignorant and fool; oblivious of the impacts and repercussions of his actions, deeply immersed in the ocean of vices, not realizing that, his life will eventually end. Indeed, human stupidity knows no boundaries.

Rome was not built in one day.

This statement lucidly describes the myth of great achievements. The higher order tasks cannot be accomplished in moments. The way that leads to success is long with plethora of hardships. Thus, one cannot expect a gigantic work to be completed within short time period. The pages of history provide us a large number of instances that support this statement. Nelson Mandela had to wait for three decades to bring the revolutionary change in his country regarding the equal rights for all races. He and his party could not mend the constitution within the days. The liberation of subcontinent and the creation of Pakistan was also a long struggle spanning over a century or more. In the same way, all surprising inventions and mysterious discoveries were not made just in a few days. Edison traveled a long journey of failures before making a light bulb. Alexander Fleming faced a lot of grievances with stoicism for producing the penicillin. Almost all fields of life confirms this statement that great work cannot be done in a short time span. It demands a long struggle and firm determination.
