In freedom lies the happiness of the individual

Freedom is a state worshipped by every living soul. The wealth of this entire world is not worth a penny of the charm and happiness of freedom. Whether humans or animals, they would bear the scorching heat of sun; days of thirst and hunger; tiresome labor of days; but for them, happiness lies on freedom of self. A bird living in a cage would always be desperate and crave for the gushing winds of outside world. Likewise, an individual confined in a cell – despite all luxuries of life – would become nostalgic for the free-living days, although worrisome they may be. The freedom of an individual rests upon the sovereignty of tribe, community, or nation of his or her affiliation. In 1947, for such a happiness of freedom, Muslims in united India spilled their blood like rivers; sacrificed their relatives; threw their possessions; left their homes; suffered severe hardships; all for the ultimate joy that they would be free in their conscience and will; however, severe the sufferings might be. When the clusters of beleaguered people reached Pakistan, each drop of their tears was in gratitude of the Almighty that the land of pure would be a guarantee for their liberty and independence. Today, every Pakistani is free to live as well as work according to his/her belief. Whatever the adversities, people of Pakistan are happy for the freedom that their predecessors have got after prolong hardships. Truly, in freedom lies the happiness of individuals. (244 words)

Note: The proverb "One may smile and smile and be a villain" means that it is not necessary those who are showing their kindness with a smiling face and consoling promises are actually be so. Might be they are treacherous with some selfish ends hidden in their hearts. The truth debunks when they deceive their friends in need.

One may smile and smile and be a villain

A wise one has rightly said, "All that glitters is not gold." Similarly, it is not necessary that one promising to be the true friend must actually be so. Besides individual consideration, on macro level, developing states are routinely the victims of false pledges of the developed ones. The long lasting friendship boosts are nothing less than vanishing sun; for instance, several of the US presidents stood with a glaring smile beside Pakistani head of the states by saying, "Pakistan is our closest ally." However, history is replete with the time testing crisis when Pakistan needed the US. In 1965 war with India, the US refused to provide help for Pakistan. Likewise, this always smiling friend did nothing to save half of Pakistan from disintegration. It imposed sanction upon Pakistan and used its influence to cancel out nuclear reactor deal between Pakistan and France, but did nothing when India exploded nuclear bomb in 1974. Again, as a true friend, it came back to Pakistan in 1979 and pledged support against the Soviet with the same smiling face. Later, the defeat of the USSR 1989, it put sanctions on Pakistan with false pretexts. After September 11, 2001, attack on World Trade Centre, this selfish as well as always smiling and shining face friend asked for Pakistan's help against Terrorism. Today, at the decline of "war on terrorism", the US is explicitly threatening to attack on Pakistan sovereignty. The US has deceived Pakistan throughout the history with a smile and cannot be trusted in future. To put it briefly, one may smile and smile, and be a villain. (266)

Marriage is a lottery

Many people spend their whole life in search of an ideal life partner; however, soon they realize at the end of their prime age that they have been wasting time. Very few people are wise enough before marriage. They dream all the time for their ideal match, even they reject many good proposals. For them, their unfulfilled dream is the reality that they will be able to find a perfect match. Nevertheless, it is good to look for the best but to think that an ideal and accurate partner is possible is futile. Sometimes people get in a delusion that someone somewhere comes up to his or her ideal expectations, and with a good luck, such individual succeed to marry with the infatuated personality. Alas, after the marriage, it would be realized that whatever was thought and believed about the ideal one was not perfectly right. In addition, realities of a new life baffle them; and consequently they accept the fact that it is not in their hand to decide for an ideal. Subsequently, the couple adjusts their behaviors, attitudes, and lifestyles according to the likeness of each other and their life gets adjust to a happy path ahead. Therefore, the fact is that there is no ideal match possible, but a conscientious life partner, who understands the feelings of other, is not impossible to find out. Thus, marriage is a lottery for having such a sympathetic partner. (238 words)

@ second opinions
I was just going through the paragraphs for expansion and your consistency is laudable. But when i reached "Means justify the end" I found your paragraph to be irrelevant to the statement. Perhpaps you havent undersood the meaning of the statement correctly.
Here the "end " does not mean eliminationation of human beings from the face of the earth. The end means the purpose. So Ill rephrase the statement for you: it is right to do bad things i.e. lie, cheat, kill if it is being done for a worthy cause.
So one can cite cases of how it is alright to lie if telling the truth can cause problems in a marriage, or telling the truth would endanger someones life etc etc

Dear Athena;

Thank you very much for scrutinising my work. The proverb that you have stood for is not "Means justify Ends", but "The End Justifies the Means"; meaning "one does some evil or unethical actions for a good purpose. "Means Justify End" is opposite; meaning "one does goodness in order to maintain or attain a bad purpose; for example, the colonialist provided people hospitals, dispensaries, etc. in order to prolong colonialism."

As far as my paragraph is concerned, I have taken the meaning of "Means justify end" as "JAISA KARO GAY WAISA BHARO GAY"; but, it is wrong in context of the above explanation.

Hope you would further point out any anomaly in this thread.

regards,

Default Charms Strike the sight but merit wins the soul

The present norm of societies to regard the aesthetics and outlooks of things rather their qualities and inner souls (in case of humans) is best criticized by the phrase “ all that glitter is not Gold “. People regard the charm of things and respect the status of humans; they are more attracted by manipulated attitudes, sweet talks and well furnished expressions. They are inspired by advertisements and marketing tactics of enterprises and goods with elegant and smart packings. They like to attend those parties where they can meet some rich personalities and they want to be invited in elegant homes. This all has let them lose the real essence of societies: quality of products and purity in humans. It is important to note that humans would be rewarded in heavens upon their inners rather their outers. Their dressings, wealth and their large and nicely furnished houses would not be weighed. It would be quality of their deeds and purity of their attitudes, which would work. Islam has stressed over simplicity in life and purity of hearts which could not be achieved by manipulated attitudes but by integrating outers with inners. A person with good outlook may be liked but a person with good inner is sure to win the soul.

Seniors plz evaluate my expansion

Though i am not that much good in expansion yet i would like to bring something under consideration regarding the above mentioned expansion by respected Irfan bhai.

In my opinion, which may be wrong, the first three to four lines have well elaborated that charm strikes the sight but i wonder you have not quite well illuminated that merit wins the soul and how.And as the expansion is not in any way concerned with the rewards after this life so i guess rewards and punishments must not be mentioned with respect to heaven and hell.Though in last sentence you have cleared the concept that purification of soul wins other people not merely the outlooks yet it needs further elucidation. And also examples of products and people can be quoted from history and present so that it clarifies the saying

This all has let them lose the real essence of societies: quality of products and purity in humans. On the contrary, it is more important to maintain the quality of products as these have to work with the customer throughout their service life. People must bring sincerity in their attitudes, besides good dressing, because it has a long lasting impact on others. Dressings, wealth and, large and nicely furnished, houses can never be a scale of merit, though, for a moment these strike one’s sight. It is quality of deeds and purity of attitudes, which works. Islam has stressed over simplicity in life and purity of hearts; which could not be achieved by manipulated attitudes; but, by integrating outers with inners. Sir plz evaluate it again.
