RESPECTED MEMEBERS,
I attempted "gender equality is a myth"
My outline was simple .I dont know the exact outline yet it included gender equality in social,political,educational,cultural and other levels.I wrote equally in all these areas giving examples from Asia,Africa and Europe especially focusing on Pakistan.In the end i concluded in favour .
Is this a good strategy? should i remain hopefull?

dear seniors please guide, how many words are sufficient enough to fetch passing marks. The instructions clearly state to write an essay of around 3000 words, i utilized around 2 hrs in writing and could put only 1200 words on paper,do you think i should be hopeful,,,what is general trends of number of words that can fetch you passing marks. i attempted essay number 10, my conclusion was a suggestion stating that modern day communication can be effective tool if they are not misused,,,and during the course of essay i simply compared plus and minus points of modern day communication tools..including facebook and twitter

respected member kindly tell me what could be an outline for
There should be colleges and schools just for men/boys and some just for women/girls

For all those who attempted this essay, in my opinion the essay should/would revolve the following basic point:

- Gender is something different than sex. (Sex is the biological composition, and Gender is its projection/perception in the society)
- Gender equality is not a myth, since Islam and the modern western civilization have tried to enforce this concept throughout different times and ages
- Sexual Equality is a myth because biologically men and women can never be equal and so they have different needs owing to their different physiological composition
- Gender Equality is not a myth because it has varying degree of existence throughout the world (from countries like Denmark to Afghanistan)
- What needs to be done to ensure further improve the Gender Equality Indexes

Attempted gender equality is a myth....
Still confused by different interpretations of the topic by different persons...as I interpreted it I thought It to be a philosophical topic rather than a contempory topic...I wrote about reasons why both genders are not and can't be treated equally...both have their different sphere of rights and duties...I concluded by that Issues arising out of gender disparity can't be resolved by imposing gender equality laws and notions on the society,instead these issues can be solved by ensuring that both the genders are respected completely in their own spheres of rights

In essay's there is no right or wrong opinion. Everybody is free to express his thoughts in any fashion he/she may want to. All you need to do is to take extra care of your English and your thought flow and that's about it.

Opinions can be and will be different: I am of the opinion that since gender is not something natural and is merely a projection of the sex in a specific society during a specific age, therefore equality is possible. And as you said, sexually/biologically they can never be equal since they translate into different needs and requirements

I also attempted "Gender equility is a Myth", but my essay was based only on two genders (i-e man and woman). One friend of mine (a written qualified candidate) told me that I had to include the third gender too... Anyways my essay encapsulates gender discrimination in two views...Historical perspective and contemporary perspective and in both I compared the concepts given by Islam and Western concept of gender equality.... Though western history even had gender disparity and Islam gave gender equivalence even before the Westerners were considering giving women a status of "human".... I contradicted with the view of myth in Modern Western World scenario but supported it in case of Islamic States especially Pakistan..

P.S. My essay's length was about 1200 to 1300 words.. I couldn't write more so I had to conclude my essay with 1200 words' length.

these are just aftershocks of the written part of css......! me too stay uneasy frequently for the attempted essay. But these are just bad bogies for us, being credulous to the first attempt of css. Result of first attempt will make our self-concept strenuous, and will give us somehow the rout of essay writing to follow.
