I think its not so much good for government coalition. Now they can't cover their negligence under the Musharaf's policies as they have been acccused him of this state of situations.
I can't differnciate between Musharaf's regime and PPP's regime because our PM also says that we are having our own war against terrorism. Government has increased the rupee value(another game of govt. as you must be aware of economic policies and secrets.) sudden increase in KSE index. All these are tectics what every govt tary to use. Now govt has to work. And Zardari and Shairf now can't blame Musharaf. Now they have to show their own works. Regads Zobia |

Yah you are right, can you compare the current situation with October 1999 it is our national tragedy that we always cry on dead bodies…..
Now best wishes for new President, but I doubt now how long this coalition take time to 1. Restore judiciary 2. Revival of economy (back to 2004/05 or 06) 3. Peace settlement in FATA/NWFP and all over Pakistan 4. more important to keep going this coalition govt…. they might fight on name of Next President what we can do is just Pray and keep working hard for this Nation |

Not a happy end ..............
He was president of Pakistan we should respect him. Politicians will be happy but do you think Zardari and whatsoever are good in the best interest of Pakistan? NO they are not good. We must stand against them if we think we are Pakistani and if we love Pakistan. I am not saying you must be happy or not but if you are happy then it is your responsiblity to check what the coalition government is doing. If they are doing wrong then you must stand against them. Do you think Zardari is a leader. NO...NO......NO he is not a leader.... So for God Sake don't say him your leader if you cann't do anything. Atleast you can do this... Musharaf was right or wrong it doesn't matter as he is dead horse now. But it is time of youth..You people must stand and must stand and must stand.... If You cann't do this then please don't discourage them who want to do this. I request to you people Please ....for God sake.....Strike as iron is hot now. Otherwise you will not be given a chance to repent. LONG LIVE PAKISTAN....... |

positive things that i see in this whole episode is that we are slowly and gradually learning to settle our disputes democratically, and if we continue doing so, we would grow as a nation,
for mr. musharaf, there is a bit of poetic justice in this, PPP & PMLn were the two elements which he tried his best to eliminate but evetually he got eliminated by them.best of luck to him

Musharaf Resignation
One thing is sure that Musharaf had to resign one day...answering the question that whether it was the right time for him to resign, my answer would be NO...the reason being Pakistan is going through another crisis as usual...at this point of time the politicians must look forward to fight against inflation, poverty, law & Orgder situation,Job placements for new graduates and other country men.
The problems will not end with the resignation of Musharaf because Zardari and Nawaz Sharif will continue with their cold war..the war for the struggle for power, now when Musharaf is gone both the remaining leaders will strive for power and as a result they will waste precious time. Nothing will be done for pakistan.....The political dilemma will go on...i can see electon being held again somewhere around mid of March next year

I second you tahir. Musharraf and other leaders must have paid heed on the financial crisis rather than pulling legs of each other. Whether, Musharraf did mistakes but could be reinforcement to bring Pakistan outta stormy sea. More coalition means to curtain the depravity. Now no hurdle in the way of corruption. Probably, Musharraf was corrupt but he was accused by King of the profession.
Zardari and Nawaz will not only broach their Cold war but also make the situation worst than worse. They will keep wandering around the President appellation. Consequently, His resignation is not in favour of nation. It is in considerable favour of Candidates for President office. We will come upon the crux of the situation with in few months. May Allah Pak bless our beloved nation Pakistan (Aameen) Allah Nagheban,

Musharaf's resignation is a right step in ma opinion cz he was the reason for such circumstances. Due to his *policies and new ordinances, Pakistan is facing such problem. The forgiveness to the enemies like Zerdari and Shereef(s) is one of such rubbish ordinances. I hope (and I pray) Zerdari and Nawaz won't be able to get the Presidential seat. May some one sensible and loyal to Pakistan would get the seat. (Ameen)
@ Usman Naseer Bro. Zerdari would try his best that Judiciary won't be Restored. The bad circumstance in the tribal areas are due to govt. and Mr. Mushi wasn't the only govt. I hop America would spare those areas. @ diamahgillani @ Tahirauf Hope for the best bro.
