So my advice is to prepare from the GRE books, and you shall do well. The sample tests are given by NTS on their website.

Thanks. I hope the test would be easy. Can you guide which portion i should attempt first? I have appeared in recruitment test of SBP and SECP before but my time management wasn't very good.

Attempt the Logic questions (Analytical portion) at the very last. It is the most time consuming portion and most candidate commit the mistake of spending too much time on it leaving less for other sections. At the end, if you run out of time, don't shy away from guessing the answers as there is no negative marking, so you must attempt all questions. There is a book from NTS itself, and one from Dogar sons which gives the pattern and some practise tests. If you can, prepare the high frequency word lists of GRE. Revise the maths concepts and practise certain types of analytical questions. Once you have, most of the questions are repetitive in nature. At the end, best of luck, pray to God, and have faith in yourself!

So, you can always wait.. and check with Ministry. They might tell you if you fall in their nomination list for this year. And your GPA or past academic record has no bearing on your nomination uptil this point. If you clear this first step, then only will these things be taken into consideration. Once you have cleared it, let me know, I'll guide you how to prepare an application for the Commission in UK.

Though, you can always check with Ministry of Education. They must be close to preparing the merit list.

that is very considerate of you buddy, anyways if I do get short listed I would contact you for guidance. And one more thing I also gave GRE and got a 1510 and a 5 on my AWA , do you think, based on this score I would be able to get scholarship somewhere. I have two years experience as an Engineer(Instrument) in Attock Oil Refinery. I had an average GPA of 3.23/4.00
